It's really good to see the compulsory straw hat with hole on top. Every true Australian living the outdoors life has one. My dad sports a very proud one. Just as Iconic to all Aussies as the slouch hat and the Akubra.😁
Rod, you're a natural in front of the camera. Love watching you. I'd like to see more builds please. And looking forward to see what you do with your 70.
Few things. I absolutely love rocket rod! The dude just makes me smile. He is always optimistic, smiling and just good nice guy, if i lived there id do whatever i can to help him get one of those 70 series, he deserves it. I would absolutely love to see him in that triton with the boys of course. Happy the main truck is good!! I can't wait to see you back on the trails! One of my favorite people to see and I'm on the other side of the world. Keep doing what you rocket! Also MnMs are delicious:)
Geezuz Rod, people will be living on Mars before 79s get steering wheel controls🤣 man oh man that auto 79 looks bloody beautiful!!!! great to see your big girl getting sorted
G'day Rod, glad to see your doing your old mate Toyota up, sorry you can't find a new toy, now with the lockdown over and OZ opening up is trips with 24/7 on the cards for next year, good recovery of that big tractor, when l was on the farm l put my Dad tractor in the Dam slashing, only thing l was on the dam wall and it was 30ft deep, it's still there, and the old man still pissed, cheers Rob, keep making them l keep watching, LOL to all their, cheers Neil 🤠.
G'day Big Farmer Rob, You gave me major nastalgia of living in the country seeing you getting you're tractor bogged in the dam. I really miss living in a rural environment moving back to the city has had its advantages but honestly I would do anything to live in the peace and serenity of a farm again. Even snakes don't bother me honestly living in a block of flats with riff raff is a nightmare and now I am thinking how I can live in a semi rural to rural area but still have a close connection to where my friends are here. Thanks for another great video..... And personally keep making all the videos you make as you do them I really enjoy them all Cheers mate stay well and be safe
That's very cool you got a shop over here in America I'm in California and I've been watching four-wheel-drive 24/7 and all of these guys and you guys for a long time
Mr. Rocket sir.. Good things come to those who wait. I am sure you'll get your arms around one of those 70th Edition Land Cruiser in 2022. I got to say, you never disappoint getting stocked. However, if you put some 37s on that tractor you'll see the BIG difference. LOL... Be safe and take care of yourself. Cheers mate!
Rocket youre a funny bugger!!! Fair dinkum you had us cracking up. How about some more mishaps! We loved this video. I think we’ll watch it again 😂. Thank you for the entertainment! Keep em comin!!! Its great to see the old girl back where she belongs.
What I would like to see you do more of is pack up one of those sweet 79’s and fed ex it to my house in North Carolina overnight please I’m on vacation week after next and want to drive it on the beach at Fort Fisher and catch a fish or two and go surfing. Thanks
Hey Rod love the video, good to see the old girl back home. Keep up the good work and we love seeing the home life as well as you cutting loose on the tracks.
Hey Rod! Great to see you’re doing well! Toyota needs to send ya a 70th anniversary series! There are so many people in Australia that have probably bought one from watching you over the years! We may have to get a petition started!😁
Great to see the truck back, regarding content, I have one of your torque converter lock up kits, a video of how it works in different driving conditions would be great, towing and off road. 🥳
Rocket Rod we always enjoy seeing you with the 4wd/247 crew, but I really enjoy these little behind the scenes and updates better. We enjoy seeing the other end, the builds and then repairs. Great video. What other company are you over seeing in America?
I'd be interested in seeing some videos regarding what transmissions are best for common vehicles (80 series, patrol etc), built properly, fixes and upgrades available for common oem transmissions.
Mate glad you fixing the old girl.. but abit disappointed you didn't get a 70th anniversary model cause your an ambassador with your eppicness on 24/7 , looking forward to seeing you back on the tracks again Rod... Toyota should recognise the marketing opportunity by hooking you up with a new ride ,..... all the best Mate be safe stay well !!!!!
Great job big fella , the Toyota will be good to go for plenty more adventures with the boys . I see that you finally got your hair cut . You were looking like Barney Rubble from the Flintstones there for a while .
Gday Rod, your cruiser is looking like new again, the 70th anniversary series look quite different in the front with those few little changes, I personally wouldn’t mind seeing more in the workshop, what goes into the auto conversion, awesome video mate, Cheers
Can't wait for the build series on the 70! Great to see you guys doing auto conversions pre-delivery, the finish on that console was amazing! Well done!
Hahaha. I enjoyed this one Rod... for one, there's no wonky vertigo-triggering hand held camera work. Top marks to Craig the Cameraman. Glad you didn't crush his camera :D Great work on the 70th Anniversary units, the console matches nicely. I can't believe one person managed to get two of them, they must have some serious connections. I reckon you need to get a turbo on your hoist, that slow thing must cause a huge backlog of vehicles waiting to get lifted and back down again.
Great to see more content from you. Always one of the most entertaining! I appreciate it would be hard for both of you to get away for a trip but I reckon that would make for some interesting content. Always coming across as very authentic. The job on the dual cab looked amazing, best luck into the future:)
Love your work buddy, full time follower here, I’m looking forward to doing my own second auto conversion, I loved the kit so much I’m going to get a 79 now.
Your 79 looks great. Have you considered putting a PPF to keep the new paint job looking new far longer? And I think you need front and rear lockers, or maybe even MT Tyres on your mower 😁
Love that Rocket is rebuilding the old girl, did the same with my 78 and yeah they are stupid expensive. Getting one of those new ones is clearly about who you blow in Toyota, whoever that guy is that got two of them must have very good connections and very deep pockets to drop 200k on two of them and another 80k on auto conversions, and that's just the starting point.
Wholesale Autos team, love the videos!! Would certainly love to see more of them. Topic suggestion : 5speed swap on a 1Fz 80series.....just because it would be interesting, certainly not for any other reason. 🤣 Cheers!!!
We have always enjoyed watching you on 4wd action and get exited when we see your going to be in an episode 😀. We really enjoy that you are making videos on RU-vid and would be happy to see more workshop videos and farm videos.
