That was an excellent outcome, John; no messing with getting a control technique and no hassle with advertising it. And he gave you the price you wanted. The perfect buyer.
Well done on a hassle-free sale. Transferring the V5C in the UK is also all done instantly online now. I haven't filled out the "New Keeper" section for several years now. Funny you should mention Chalons en Champagne because we're staying there on our way down to start our Italian bike trip in a few weeks time. The last time I stayed there, which would be over 30 years ago when I bike toured every summer, it was called Chalons sur Marne! Richard
Richard, if you have time on your way to Italy, take the Route Touristique du Champagne from Chalons to Epernay, then south out of Epernay still following Route Touristique du Champagne to Sezanne then on to Villenauxe. It will take about 4 hours if you don't stop, but is well worth it. You can then go across to Troyes and onto the A26/A5 south towards Italy
Glad she’s moved on to a new home , enjoy the fjr , looking forward to the video on the shires, I am off to thionville, Kaiserslautern, the Black Forest epernay then home next week on the 1250 rt.
Epernay itself is not very interesting except the Champagne Houses. If you have time, use the Route Touristique du Champagne south of Epernay. If you don't have much time, use the the Route Touristique du Champagne west of Epernay towards Chateau Thierry then pick up the A4 if you're in a hurry. I'll see if I can find the route I usually take and send you the details though, you'll probably be heading towards the A26. Chalons-en-Champagne is OK. Sezanne area between Sezanne and Epernay is better but a bit south of your route. When will you be there?
@@riderramblings there’s three of us heading from pension Williams in Germany to epernay as a stop before we head off back to dieppe we will be in epernay next Friday I believe
@@riderramblings Thankyou for your tips , sorry for the hurried factual reply I was rising about, we start off at Calais then the bullet points are thionville , Kaiserslautern, the Black Forest for a few days then head on to epernay and back home , from there , I am looking forward to no chain maintenance!
