Hey Javonne! I felt so discouraged about my weight. I was 230 pounds and I’m 5’3 so I was a little fat Oompa Loompa 😂 my main goal was to get out the 200’s so each month I set a goal to lose 10 pounds. Then I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year. After seeing a nutritional therapist and working out more I now weigh 183 pounds and fine as ever & pre diabetic 💃🏾Just set goals and you’ll start notice a big difference, and try eating at home more ❤

It's sad Sis because African American women carry the highest risk of developing fibroids. That's why yearly paps and check ups are very important. Most women don't even know they have fibroids until it starts causing a lot of issues. Preventative care is the best solution. I stay in my primary doctors office.....as soon as something seems off, I make an appointment .....lol!! 😀

Really appreciate you being so transparent. Every time you discuss weight loss struggles etc it always hits home for me. I love the positivity of your platform and please don’t ever feel you’re being repetitive. I understand how you feel about the weight loss JaVonne. The struggle is real and it is hard, so you are never alone. Just hang in there and do the best you can with good food choices. I do have diabetes and hypertension. Have lost weight and changed my diet, yet I still have the diabetes. Cannot get off meds or blood sugar will escalate still. Take care of your health because it is everything. It kinda sucks you get everything in control, yet still have to take meds. All the above also run in my family but did what I could to avoid them. Love your content and your bubbly personality.

Recently my mom has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She first noticed when she felt lumps in her breast, she mentioned it to her doctor but he didn’t test her for anything so my mother noticed that the lumps were getting bigger so she got an second opinion. I still thank God til this day that she got the correct diagnosis from someone who took time to listened to her. To sum up the story the doctor had to remove her right lymphoid and both of her breast, she is still battling cancer and is now going through chemotherapy. I believe she is a walking miracle for God has blessed her to be here with us and in the greatest spirits. ❤🙏🏼

Thank you auntie. there are plenty of reasons most of us let our weight get the best of us. and one reason might simply be sadness. i struggle with PCOS and bipolar depression. I often let my weight make me insecure and anxious wear certain clothes. you make me feel better and helped me on my weight loss journey. i’m only 10 pounds down. but we are in this together 💝

Be gracious with yourself and make small changes. Maybe try to stop drinking many of your calories (Statbucks and alcohol). You already love to bike ride which is great. Maybe try adding in strength training. You'd be amazed at how that will help melt the pounds. I don’t take you as a joke. You are an inspiration to me. I’ve been watching you for years and rewatching your videos from the beginning and they still make me laugh to this day. Life happens and sometimes we say we’re gonna eat better and this and that and we don’t and that’s okay. As long as your enjoying your life even if that means stuffing your mouth with food lol that’s all that should matter. In my opinion I would suggest eating healthy a few days of the week and still eating your normal meals all the other days. Eating a lil healthy every now and then is something rather than nothing.

If you are healthy but I felt what you said. But girl pull yourself together and continue loving yourself and enjoying life.
