Tiny is lowkey underrated. Everyone forgets her success with Xscape meanwhile people see T.I. as the successful one. I didn't know how talented of a singer she was until I really listened to them.

Tiny's tone, control, and range gave her the makings of one of the best singers. If she'd been consistent over the years, she'd be so amazing today.

I think Kandi is a Dugazon soprano, a very unique voice type. That's why her voice has so many weird qualities, high soft palette, heavy low register and a high falsetto extension

It's crazy how even in the old days you can see the separation between Kandi and LaTocha on the stage. All of these ladies have beautiful voices❤️✨

Kandi looks and sounds exactly the same. that just goes to show you what a life *without* drugs and alcohol can do for you.

Each of them have such a distinct sound that Xscape would not be Xscape without all four voices! Individually their all great but all 4 voices together is absolutely magical! I'm sooo glad that their back together after all these years. These young artists of today need to take notes because this is what you call pure raw talent!!!

Tamika is nasty with it, but the blessing is the way they blend their voices when they harmonize. Tosha takes ‘em to church with her runs, Tamika is the gut punch with her powerhouse style (like Coco), Tiny is the icing with her growls and cleanliness of her vocals, & Khandi completes it with her alto (much like T-Boz & LeeLee) & d6 high notes. C'est magnifique

Kandi’s voice DEFINITELY made Xscape’s harmonies differ from other girl groups in the 90’s and her whistle notes are immaculate. Tiny has an amazing soprano tone I love her voice. LaTocha has a powerful voice but she lacks control, her runs are all over the place and down right annoying at times. Tameka is the best singer in the group hands down...Kandi has even said it plenty of times! She just never cared to sing lead like her sister.

All of them can sing. Kandi is a true alto she holds that space down they can say what they want. My favorite singer in the group was always Tamika she had that blues growl that I love.

As xscapes number one fan im qualified to say this was an EXCELLENT video showcasing each members voice and them as a whole! This video showed was ive always known, xscape is one of the best female vocal groups of all time! All four members are great vocalists in their own right. Kandi has a tone that you either love or hate but she has amazing control in her lower register but can go up into the rafters in a beautiful and controlled head voice and that shows SKILL. Tiny is a lyric soprano and executes her little growls flawlessly and without losing pitch. And she carries the soprano harmonies well. Tocha has a very powerful voice and def shines in her upper chest belts. Thats something a singer just has or doesnt have. Cant be taught. Tamika is my favorite vocally bc i just love her tone. She is the most consistent pitch-wise live, and shows the most control and musicality in her adlibs. And when she gets into that mixed squall she has such an authentic churchy type of sound. Its like there such a genuine anointing in her voice. Everyone wont get that. Lol all four can blow.

let's be clear there would be NO Xscape w/o either of these ladies. That's the unique thing about groups from the 80's -90's, they all could actually sing, and carry their own leading a song. Tiny has the best and purest tone in the group. Her voice is the most pleasant to the ear. Kandi has the most unique (but polarizing) tone, and her voice is the glue in the harmony eventhough she sang the lowest note. Tamika is very consistent and has very good technique. Latocha is the most dynamic and powerful singer of the group, but she also has the least control and shaky technique.
