Mom passed in her favorite spot in the living room. It had been 4 weeks and 3 days from her diagnosis. Almost as if she felt she had been given permission to let go. During her final week my brother could hear her "talking" to some one so he went to check on her. She was sleeping but appeared to be having a conversation. He put his hand on her shoulder to wake her and see if she was OK and she slowly turned to him and opened her eyes. She said, "I can't talk to you right now. I am very busy." Then slipped back into her state. The next day we both watched her, in her sleep, get a surprised look on her face, smile, reach her arms up to hug someone and purse her lips for a kiss. A small tear ran down her cheek. It was at that moment I knew everything was going to be OK, there is a Heaven. She passed over from my arms the next morning. It was beautiful. 14 years later and I still cry like a babe. I miss my mommy.
Your post tugs at my heartstrings. I miss my mom too. It does not cut me to the bone as it once did. It softens over time. I know I will see her and my father when God calls me home. Twenty five years ago, we cared for her at home as you did. It is priceless to be near your precious family when they die. You did all you could and in return, your gift is to know that there really is a Heaven. My mother said, “Look at the children running in the field” before she passed. I held her and told it was ok for her to go to them. She passed soon thereafter.❤
When my Father was dying at home. For 3 days i seen the little children running around playing and happy. Before my Mother died, she kept seeing my brother-in- law, that passed unexpectedly at 50. She said he was in the hall. Some people thought her mind was going, but i knew better. Some people can experience the Spirits, some can't. People that never experience it can't understand it. It's a Gift from God.
My Dad was in a Hospice center for 3 days. Upon arriving to to the room, he was immediately fearful of “something bad” trying to escape from both the closet and an adjoining mirror. My Dad did not suffer from dementia. In fact, he was awake, alert & oriented to his surroundings throughout the 3 day inpatient stay. We secured the closet, covered it’s doors, put a blanket over the mirror & he never mentioned it again. However, he surprised us when he stated on arriving home, “I’m so glad to be dying here & not with the darkness in that room.” Instead, during in his short time at home, Dad described visits from loved ones from the other side. He passed away peacefully at home, after 3 great days at home with close family & dear friends at his bedside. It was truly a spiritual experience like no other….
So sorry for your loss. I’m glad he got to pass easily. I would’ve raised hell about being in that hospital room, too. So many evil spirits get their jollies haunting and terrorizing sick and dying people, and for some reason ghosts like to hang out in closets and use mirrors as portals.
I've seen an incredible picture of a old woman in a mirror 🪞 that wasn't "there"... that was the first time I ever heard that old wives tales talk about how spirits/ souls can get trapt in mirrors. I'm sorry for your loss but it sounds like your father had an amazing family around him.
My dad sadly passed away in the front passenger seat of my car as I was rushing him to the hospital, at one point he became unresponsive to us but was simply staring up at something in awe, almost like he could see the most amazing thing he's ever seen beyond the roof of my car. After a minute or two his head dropped and he peacefully left this Earth. I truly hope there is something better beyond this realm. Miss you dad

Yes, there is. We must repent of our sins, and ask Jesus into our heart to be our Savior and Lord. We give our life to Him. We have a personal relationship with Him, every day, we pray, and we read His Bible, every day. He will be the best friend that you have ever had. He is unconditional love.
Totally normal and totally beautiful. My husband died at 49. He was on hospice for 4 weeks. He waved at people I couldn't see, he smiled, talked (nothing I could understand) but I believe it gave him comfort and it was angels and love ones who had passed away before him. I like to think it helped him on his journey to Heaven. This women seems very lucid with no fear at all. He did the right thing. You never tell them they're wrong.
My condolences no matter how long ago he passed. It's nice that you were able to know there were people ready to take him to his heavenly afterlife. That should have been comforting
My mother was in the hospital at the point of death when at around midnight a new doctor came to see her and changed her medication. He cancelled what the other doctors were giving her, and put her on different meds. She began to get better and better and lived for 5 more years. The next day, her regular doctors were perplexed. Both the doctors and nurses said they’d never heard of the doctor that changed mother’s meds. This is a true story. I was there staying with my mom and met the doctor that came in that night. That was the first and last time we ever saw him, and to this day, people I know that work at the hospital she was at, swears that there was never a doctor with that name or that description. They also said it’s not the norm for an on call doctor to change medications. Idk who came to see mom that night, but he saved her life.
It was an Angel, there are alot of stories about someone showing or being there and saving a person's life but cant be explained. That's when you know it was an Angel. Did the doctor have a presence about him when you look back? That is an awesome story.
@@PoeticHeart , yes he did have a presence to him. We also believe it was an angel. That’s all it could be. Neither the nurses nor the doctors had ever heard of him, but the medication he changed mom to saved her life.

It was the middle of the night and we’d been in the hospital over a week at that point and mom was going down and I was worn out. I look back now and wish I’d interacted with him more. I just remember that he was so kind and reassuring to us. He held mom’s hand and looked into her eyes. The connection put her at such ease. He didn’t stay but maybe 5-10 minutes at the most. He was looked to be of Chinese or Japanese descent. Black hair, about 5’8” (I’m 5’6” and he was just a tad taller then I). He spoke with mom, then got my hand and told me he was changing her medication immediately bc what she was on was not what he thought she needed. He went back and said some things to mom that I couldn’t hear and left the room with her chart. A few minutes later, nurses came and changed her iv bags to the new meds. The next day mom was amazingly better and we went home the day after. We asked all the shifts about the doctor and no one knew who he was. Even the nurse that changed the IV bags was a mystery. When we told the other nurses about the nurse that came in after the doctor, no one knew her by our description, nor did we ever see her again (and the next year mom was in the hospital every month of the year for at least a week each time). We never saw the doctor or nurse again. I actually had forgotten about the nurse until my sister mentioned it when i told her about this post. I do believe God sent angels to take care of my mother. I too have had an experience with His messages. I had a horrible car accident. I woke up with my back against a tree, my femur sticking through my pants, multiple breaks and cuts. I wiped my hair from my face and watched my blood drip from my fingers. I later found out I’d lost 6 pints of blood when I arrived in the ER, BUT , as I lay on that ground, I had a feeling sweep over me, a voice in my head telling me not to worry, that I would be okay. When the ambulance arrived, I told them I was going to be fine. The EMT’s came to my hospital room and told me they’d never seen anyone lose that much blood and not go into shock. I even calmed my parents at the ER as the doctor told my mother that he found my ear stuck to the back of my head in blood. I told my parents that I was going to be fine bc Jesus told I would be. I KNEW it. No question in my mind at all that I would live through this. The car I was in separated on impact. The dash and the motor were 40 feet away from the front seats and the rest of the car. I lay in the center against that tree with absolutely no fear. I’ll never forget the comfort I was given that night by Heavenly Father. I KNEW he was with me. I KNEW he had the surgeons hands. 5 years and 12 surgeries later, I’m done with the effects of that night, and He made sure that I knew He would see me through. God is so good.
It's called Visioning, and begins to occur about one month before the person dies. It is so common that hospice workers warn families to expect it. The person isn't hallucinating; they don't see live people or pets. Instead, they see only those relatives who have died, as well as deceased pets, and angels. The person is comforted by this. The person is typically told that they'll soon go with them. They may also see ghostswho are known to haunt the hospital. If you notice on this video, towards the end, you see the lady look up or follow something or someone as it goes up. This is also common in visionings. The person typically sees the person or angel up near the ceiling.
Yea absolutely right. Visited my GMA in mid Jan & she was seeing my dead uncle- which was sad bc she began to cry and asked him why he did it and she missed him- and then she died 2 weeks later.
Except you don't have to be near death to have these gifts or abilities. You actually can activate them but most people do not learn of the spirit realm or feel it's taboo until yes they're close to death. Younger and healthier people who are aware of the spirit realm and have these certain abilities are often labeled mentally unstable.

The deceased relative part is 💯true. I remember 10 years ago my cousin had a terrible near death experience. He was on the beach with his friends and they decided to compete to who can swim further. My cousin eventually made it but it was too late. The water started dragging him further and pulling him down. Unfortunately as a result of that, he had drowned and died for 4 hours. Until they found him and decided to revive him with electric shocks to see if there is any chance he can come back to life. He said during this time he saw his deceased father and grandfather. His father told him it’s too early for you, you have to come back on earth and live your life. Now he’s doing great.
The day my husband died he kept staring at a point in front of his bed. He would also reach out. This went on for a couple of hours between falling asleep. When I asked him if his late wife, Marlene and his grown son, both of whom have died several years earlier, he would nod and the biggest, most beautiful smile, would light up his face. I knew he was worried about leaving me and our two little girls so I told him it was OK to go home to them that we would be fine. I also asked him if he could see the light and he nodded. After telling him all that was in my heart, I, again, encouraged him to join them. A few minutes later, while holding my hand, he was gone. Rest in peace my sweet Willusch. It has been 40 years. Soon now!
That's just how my significant other passed. Almost exact..ill told him it was ok to go n I hugged him n gave him a kiss n was still hugging him when he took his last breath.
I did same with my husband as he was passing. Held him, kissed him and told him it would be well in my soul if he would let the angels carry him home. As much as my heart misses him, I know he is no longer suffering and I will be with him one day. ❤️❤️
As a hospice nurse I've seen this many times. A few experiences give me chills to remember. Once a woman was packing her most beloved items in newspaper, telling me Jesus called her on the phone and told her he'd be there to get her in 3 days. And she saw a man in her room just watching her. She said this for 2 days that Jesus called her those 2 mornings to come get her. On the third day, when I arrived, she was gone.
This can happen at any stage. I worked for several nursing homes/hospice. On several occasions I would walk into the room and see them talking to people I couldn't see. They can see all those that have passed in that building, as well as loved ones. And in their last moments you can see them reaching out to some one or something. As a care giver and med tech in hospice we always open a window in that room so their souls can move forward peacefully.
Losing our mothers has to be one of the most life changing experiences we’ll ever have during our lifetimes. Whether it happens when you’re much too young, or when you’re older and know the time is near.. it never seems to change that childlike need to want your mommy. My dad’s been gone 2 years, he was only 64 and was sick for several years before. My mom is 62 now.. but she’s so alive, glowing, beautiful, elegant, honest, loyal, social, fun, passionate about hobbies .. she has no many good friends and so involved with my 2 little daughters. My point is, now that I’m mid 30s and she’s mid 60s.. I can’t believe that, most likely, my time with her is 2/3 of the way over. It’ll never be enough time.. even if I’m 65 and she’s 95… it’ll never be enough. My heart breaks for women who have to carry on living after their moms are no longer here. I think it’ll be nearly impossible for me to ever be whole again after she’s gone.. even when I’m an old lady.
I completely understand. I lost my mum 6 months ago. It’s my birthday tomorrow and I won’t see her or receive a call. I can’t believe that I have to live the rest of my life without her. The emotional toll is horrendous. I hope that in time it will get easier but I will miss her forever. You are a beautiful daughter loving your mom - enjoy every moment with her. ❤

it is hard and takes time but you will be fine. accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He has carried me 72 yrs, his angels protected me and i talk to Jesus constantly. He is love , peace, joy, completeness, happiness and all else, just be the person he made you and with every breath praise Jesus... if you don't walk with Jesus, then you made the biggest mistake of your life. keep your eyes on Jesus😊😊😊😊
My mother was talking to my father and Jesus a couple weeks before she passed. It was a very special and inspiring revelation for me. She had an actual two way conversation with both of them. 😊

I work as an RN for hospice. This happens all the time. I have noticed that the one person most of them see is their mother. It's as if the mother brings them into this world and comes back to escort them into the next.
Brother in law was dying from cancer, kept seeing his mother, father , my uncle, his uncle all that had already passed already. He would carry on conversations with them, while we all sat and watch, waited. They come from the otherside to help ease the transition of those who are getting ready to leave this earthly life. I'm so scared of dieing, i know that it happens to us all but i cant help it. I keep getting these panic attacks. Total dreaded feeling with anxiety. Comes and goes in waves. Its really affecting my mental state
@jodoodlyboi2963 I have talked about it but doctors want to give me antidepressants, I'm not depressed. Just have ptsd from when I nearly died from drowning when I was young. It's just getting worse as I'm getting older. I remember drowning thinking, that's it's your dead you've gone and killed yourself. Scary feelings when your life flashback before you. I woke up in hospital a day later and spent 4 days in hospital. It's really getting to me now.
I don't know if I could handle watching a loved one pass away, I've watched my Chihuahua die of old age, & my grandmother's poodle passed from old age. I miss them dearly, had a black lab back in the mid 90s had the Chihuahua at the same time, he got heart warms, & they couldn't save him, that was hard, pets are family.
@@matthewjdouglas6471 some meds are for both anxiety and depression. The ones I take are. Maybe ask if that's the case, and if it isn't I don't really know how to go from there tbh. I wish you the best of luck though. I used to have a lot of fear surrounding death as a child myself, but it thankfully got better over the years. Occasionally I'll have small panic moment if I think about it too much though, so I try not to.
I can absolutely attest to this being factual by my own first hand near death experience. Technically, I wasnt "near death", I did die. My heart stopped, I had no pulse & was clinically dead for a short moment. I overdosed on drugs in my bedroom, when my boyfriend walked into the room to find me on my bed speaking to someone who wasnt there, on the verge of death. I remember it so vividly. I was on my bed when my deceased father appeared on my bed next to me, he was telling me it was time to go & I needed to go with him. Next thing I know, my spirit detached from my body & I began to float upwards towards the roof & just then paramedics burst into my room & i watched down on them as they lifted my dead body off the bed & onto the floor where they began CPR, trying to revive me. Next thing I know, it's like I blinked & was all of a sudden back in my body going in & out of consciousness. As a small child, my biggest fear was death & after experiencing death as an adult, I can absolutely say that dying was the best most peaceful experience. Once your spirit leaves your body, it leaves behind all pain, hurt, negative emotions, everything bad! You dont feel sad or scared, you feel WHOLE & at peace. I will never forget it. It changed my entire life, I never touched drugs again & have lived my life knowing there is a God & there is another side we go to when we die & I'm excited about going to that other side one day. ❤

Next thing I'm back, nurse handing me my daughter..BUT ITS LIKE I WASN'T THERE... Very strange... And when my brother died. I dreamt few weeks later we were in a cottage.. Old fashioned. Outside wooden steps.. He asked me to go with him but I said No. I couldn't.. Then he went up the stairs.. And gone until people experience it, they'll never know...

Yes my Grandmother began asking about her kids , who were in their 70’s. She also said her Mama had come to see her. That was incredible. My Son In Law’s Dad said his Dad was waiting outside the front door. He passed away about 6 hours after his Dad came to escort him to the other side.
I wish my mom lived that old!! She died at 42, I will never forget that day ,she had slept on the couch and unbeknownst to us she died in the night but we thought she was sleeping in, I remember getting in the shower and I heard my stepdad give out the saddest wail/ cry , as soon as I heard him I got out of shower and he said my mom was dead, I look at it as I got to spend the whole morning thinking she was alive, people don't take your mom's for granted ,don't let arguments over money or material things keep you apart ,take it from me because I thought my mom would live forever 😢

My brother died and came back. He told me that heaven was sooo beautiful, and he cried because all he remember was THE LOVE he felt there. He told me if they try to resuscitate him again, he doesn’t want to come back. He had colon cancer. I miss him so much. 😢
I've heard something similar a pastor dies and his congress prayed for him to come back, he did and he said if I die Don't ask God to bring me back because heaven was so beautiful.

When my friend was dying, she was talking to someone. She got really cross and told them, "I'm not going anywhere yet. I'm waiting for my kids." She died thirty minutes after they got there. Miss you Debs❤

When I was 16 years old my great Aunt was dying of cancer and me and my Mom stayed at her old farmhouse over the summer to take care of her. She had a colostomy bag and needed help bathing and doing everyday things like cooking and laundry. Her condition deteriorated fast and one day my Mom was asleep in the other room and I was left alone in the room with my Aunt. She turned her head and opened her eyes, looking past me as she said, “Hello my love. I’ve missed you so much. Have you been waiting for me long?” She wasn’t talking to me though so I didn’t say answer her. “A year?” she asked. (Her husband had died almost a year prior to the day) She smiled and said, “Well I’m here with you now and we’ll never be apart again.” Then she started looking around and said, “It’s so beautiful!” Pretty soon after that she closed her eyes and went back to sleep. She never woke back up or said another word. She died a few hours later. It was so crazy being a young kid and spending her last moments here on earth with her. It felt almost like I was eavesdropping on her private conversation with her husband in heaven.

My 19 year old daughter suddenly started asking over and over again to see photos of her Grandmother who has passed away a year earlier. This was very out of character for her. She wasn’t very sentimental and she didn’t know her grandmother really well since we lived in the U.S. and her Grandmother was from England. She kept asking and asking like it was an emergency of some sort. Within 4 days of her asking for the photos, my daughter was killed in a car accident. I believe that her Grandmother was with her in the days leading up to her accident and that she was there to bring my daughter home.

This made me so sad. I lost my mom 7 months ago and a few days before she passed she was talking to her deceased grandma and her mother telling them that she's coming soon. I miss her everyday. Sigh. I love her sooo much.
My mother, in 2023, got a blood clot in her legs that spread to her lungs. She had just tucked me into bed, and she then sat on her bed. But then, she started getting hot. And getting dizzy. She called my father (he was at work) and told him to call the ambulance. He did. She saw my dead mama. (I call my grandma mama) Mama didn't say anything, but mother felt at peace near her. Then, the ambulance arrived. It has now been a year since it happened. I'm happy she survived.
True!!! My 70 year old mother , just 2 days before passing , asked me more than a few times if I saw the little boy AND his dog!! I asked her what he was doing and she said; just watching me and smiling. I asked if she knew him and she said no. She absolutely saw a young boy AND his dog that made her feel at ease. Truth is sooo much stranger then fiction. 7 years ago this happened. I held my beautiful mothers hand while she drew her last breath on this planet. Amazing!
It’s absolutely true. Just a few days before she died, my aunt used to ask why I was just bringing her food and not her siblings who were there too. I told her that I couldn’t see anyone but she insisted that my uncles and my pre deceased mother (my aunt’s sister) were all sitting on the edge of her bed! It provides comfort to me that she was surrounded by people she once loved and that they were there to make her passage to the other side easier.
I got shot 3 times and saw a demon standing over me. I cannot explain the TERROR😂😂 I kept screaming "God please I'm not ready , I'm not ready" Then I woke up n the hospital. TRUE STORY no 🧢.
Same thing happened to my friend when he was in hospice. He said out loud "look at my boy, he looks good, doesn't he look good" his son had died many years prior and they weren't on speaking terms. It's a beautiful thing to watch someone in the process of crossing over. You know they're at peace and theyre fine
It’s not always beautiful when someone is dying in a painful way. That’s not beautiful, yes seeing someone pass like this is nice because you know she’ll be out of pain soon but there’s many ways of seeing someone pass and not all are beautiful
This happens so much more than people realize. I have both unfortunately and fortunately held the hands of many people when they’ve died. They usually see family members and it’s very comforting for them. They will reach for things you can’t see. They also get a thing called the surge which if you see it you think they’re getting better, but they’re not that means the end is very close. Also if you your loved one is dying and refusing to drink water please do not insist a doctor or a nurse hook up an IV, it will make the death far more painful for the patient. You can take like a little sponge and wet the inside of their mouth and lips, but you don’t want to put fluids into their body because their body is shutting down and can’t rid itself fluid like a healthy body can so the of fluid. The fluid fills up lungs. They aren’t suffering or dehydrated, it’s a natural part of dying. To anyone else losing a loved one on hospice care my heart goes out to you. Just remember it’s about making them as comfortable as possible.
It does annoy me, that some people, are very ignorant, of the way our bodies stop functioning as good, as we get older. We are getting closer to dying, with each day that passes by, so of course, our bodies aren't going to be working as good as they used to. In today's world, you're expected to get better all too quickly. Not from my own experiences, but from other people's experiences that they've told me about. Now where's that magic wand that creates miracles? 🤔 It ain't there, and it never will be. I live in reality. I just don't understand this OTT, fast, unrealistic expectation of any recovery.
I always wandered about it, very mysterious but I guess we will all have our day to see for ourselves science tells us it's a boost of dopamine in our brains before we die that makes us high and trip and see stuff but something in my heart says otherwise 🙏

She will forever live in your heart so she’s still here, A little piece of her in everyone that loves her. I can’t tell you it gets easier, what I can tell you is that families have a harder time than the patient about dying. Every single person that I’ve been with while they were dying they truly were ready, not scared, and the only thing that made them sad was their families being so upset. They can come to terms with it pretty quickly. I don’t know if you want to call it God or the universe, whichever they believe in, they truly seem to know they’re going back home. They are ready, it is the families they are not. Never forget to tell people he loves it every time you speak with them and don’t take people for granted. We’re not promised tomorrow. My sincerest and heartfelt condolences on your loss
My granny saw "little people" and asked for my mom to go home because my granny was "afraid with how clumsy you are, Barb. You might step on one of them.". I love my granny and miss her. She passed away from breast cancer on Valentine's Day 2006.

I almost died in 2020. My brother came to tell me that I would survive, to not be afraid, and he would not leave me. My brother was 14 years older than me and he passed away in 2002 from ALS. My last memory of him was when his body was ravaged by ALS. I got to see him again and he wasn’t sick anymore. I am here to say that a brother’s love is forever!
Im in nursing and I've had a blind man talk about literally seeing his wife and talking about how bright certain colors were. This from someone who never had sight. It was crazy & beautiful!!!!
The day before my mother passed she asked if my sister or I had a hairbrush. We looked at each other because she had no hair due to chemo treatments. I gave her a hairbrush and she started combing her hair like it was long again, she took a small mirror from her nightstand and was putting on lipstick. Afterwards she asked my sister and I to leave the room because my father was coming to see her and he wouldn't come if we were in the room (my father had passed 5 years prior).
That's beautiful. She wanted to pretty up before seeing the love of her life again. I bet he would think her gorgeous whether she did or not, though. :)
My aunt was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer & it took her in a matter of weeks. I On the day the ambulance came to take her the very last time, from her home, she was watching out the window and waving. When we asked who she was waving at, she exclaimed, “look at all of them…everyone is here & they are dancing for me…” 😢😭😭😭😭

As a nurse, this is completely normal. The same ones who see us come into the world sees us out. It wasn't until I became a nurse I learned that death isn't the end. We never die alone.
My momma was on life support, wonderful Christian lady that loves God & his Son SO Very MUCH! She started this about 3days b4 God called her home. Never seen such a beautiful smile from her as she had on her face. I tried to get right in her face so she would lock eyes with me but, her eyes were fixed along with her smile (even w a tube down her throat). I felt a peace I can’t explain even tho my heart was beginning to mourn her. I KNOW MY MOMMA IS WITH THE LORD 🙏🌹🙏
My mother would be the last one to "see" spirits. She was a very down to earth woman who felt this was "silly" in day to day life. But then this wasn't day to day life. It was her own personal journey on her way "HOME". Her mother came by everyday for a visit with her very beloved daughter with whom she was so close. It didn't matter that she too had her own journey home a few years before at the age of ninety eight. My mom had inherited her very loving and giving heart. It was no surprise to me that she would come to see her "little girl" every day at this time. But I had noticed mom looking over and behind her right shoulder. I had asked her what she was looking at. She replied, "That man up there". She said he had been up there all along but she didn't know who he was. But I know who he was, and am very grateful to attend my mother. Mama had an Angel attending her before her journey home. She was a strong woman of faith and knew without a doubt that her home was the Heavenly one she had absolute assurance was her's based on the Bible she followed faithfully. As a retired RN now and an active Oncology nurse then, I knew exactly what she was seeing and undoubtedly hearing. We kept mom at home where she wanted to be at this last journey of her life. Family and Friends visited often and showed the love and affection they shared. Friends and family came and were so welcomed when I called them at 11pm on Saturday night to tell them that Mama was very near to going "HOME". They stayed until after her last breath that Sunday at 4pm...just as I knew she would. I know what a "good death" is, and I knew that is what my Mom had. I am forever grateful that I could help her experience that. She certainly deserved it. I have cared for many patients, many of whom wanted to die at home but many patient's families just cannot do that. Now, with home hospice care, it's not so hard to do as long as you can handle it emotionally. I knew I owed it to Mom to honor her and her final wishes to have what she most wanted, to die at home. It may sound odd, but I deeply treasure that time, was able to keep her comfortable and pain free as possible. It is the most important thing I could have done for her...and for me.
what a wonderful gift you gave your mom. My sister and i are now taking care of my mom who just entered home hospice. We are so glad to be able to do it. I just cant imagine the grief we will feel.

I worked as a doctor on an old ICU for a few months. During rounds the nurse would sometimes inform us that "the patient saw the kids yesterday". At the beggining I was very confused about it, thinking she was talking about patients family. That until one day the chief physician asked if one of the terminal patients saw "the kids". Confused, I later asked him what was he talking about, and he explained to me that if a patient began talking, out of nowhere, with a pair of kinds during their delirium they would likely die the next day, and that it was a great indicator for a patient's death so they istructed nurses to pay attention for when delirious patients began interacting with "the kids". This ICU was right next to the peds ICU so the rumor was that what our patients saw was the ghosts of a pair of patients from the pediatric ICU. After that I would sh*** myself everytime I had to stay for night shifts. I swear god I'm not making this up, I actually lived this story and it's one of the most chilling things I've ever witnessed.

Not the first time I’ve heard something like this. Friend of mine worked at a hospice center and he had a nearly identical story. It wasn’t a pair of children though, it was an old man in a wheelchair with a clarinet. About 50 patients over the years had seen him and described him and even given the same name, Winston. When he put in his 2 weeks notice he spent some time looking through patient files. Never found a patient by that name. What’s creepy is the land the hospice center was built on was owned by a man named Winston in the early 1900’s. A look through archived newspaper articles showed an obituary for him. He died at home after a horseback riding accident. He was a paraplegic for about 2 weeks but wound up dying from complications from a punctured lung from an undiagnosed broken rib after the fall. He spent 2 weeks in a wheelchair. One of the things mentioned was his wife was going to miss him and “his awful clarinet playing” Really freaked my friend out. He didn’t complete his 2 weeks after a patient started talking about him a few days after he put in his 2 weeks notice. He just called in and never went back there. The crazy part is c the vast majority of these patients that witnessed him NEVER met each other.
This is so real to me . Going through this right now with my Mom .She sees people in the room with her all the time . Recently she was talking in her sleep to her Dad who passed away 61 years ago When she woke up I asked her if she saw her Dad? She got the biggest smile on her face and she looked so peaceful and said Yes I talked to him and I got to see everyone. Later in the day she was crying and I asked what was wrong ? She said she can't find her Dad again and now God won't talk to me anymore . I hugged her and held her tight and told her They will be back soon . I truly believe God was there to take her and she wasn't ready to go yet .
@@SD-gw9yy Hi , My Mom passed on may 3rd peacefully after more communication with her family in heaven . She was in between here and there many times in the last 2 days mostly in like a trance all non verbal noises with her eyes mostly closed and I couldn't snap her out of it however the day before she died I was sitting next to her half way on the sofa in her living room and she raised her hands up and I grabbed them and pulled her up to me she was still in a trance and for a brief second she popped her eyes opened and looked to the left of me and in her normal voice she said "Hello Everyone" then right back into the trance . I truly felt we were all in the room together . When she took her last breath the next day I had the greatest sense of peace that was totally unexpected and I have kept that peace with me today . The craziest part is that my Moms vocal chords were damaged during a procedure in 2021 and never had a normal voice again until the last day . Praying for you to find some peace in knowing there is a better place . A place of renewal and everlasting life . God walked me right into it !

Maybe 15yrs? my grandmother was in the ICU. She had been in a short period of unconscious state due to septic shock. We really thought she wasnt going to come out - of this septic shock /due to organ failure..but she did! We were allowed to make our final visit as just her being alert and oriented was not expected at all. We asked her if she knew where she was? Through her oxygen mask .She said in the hospital. She pointed and said oh what beautiful little children there was there too!! They have curly hair and sang sooo beautifully . She said that there seems to be a "fiesta/party" in the works/church nearby and described a feast of food items. Looking past us in the room she named a few relatives who had passed years ago. We asked her do you know who I am? (ea visiting family member in the ICU) she would make eye contact. Smile and say our names. Her responses with the chuckle/ twinkle in her eye was as if we were the silly ones asking her several times do u know where you are again or who in the room so & so was. (We were quite repetitive in our questions) ..but again she would look off into the room ,comment and describe this "other side" at the same time. Even told my husband "oh go eat !! there is this and that over there!"I can clearly remember her smile and twinkle in her eye. She obviously was excited at the festive events that she was going to attend. She was calm and peaceful this whole time. She passed a couple of hours later with many of us surrounding her in the room . The whole experience as sad as it was for our own loss was a beautiful gift !! I really thank God for allowing her to be able to share this insight to what may come after one passes... I miss her dearly and am so thankful to have shared a part of my life with her .For myself I have no doubt she will be there arranging a welcome party when the time comes for myself or our own family members.
I work in a nursing facility and taking care of a hospice resident, she was seeing children singing she said, also her deceased family and relatives as she was telling me. Oh look at my relatives they are here!! Thats why I prayed for her soul so she can peacefully go.
I died in an ER and had stopped for about 2 minutes. I remember being in a field of long grass with yellow flowers. I was very comfortable being there. Then i was bought back and felt extremely refreshed. Things happen for a reason but as of now i dont know why.
My mom described exactly the same thing after a car accident left her crippled with a severed aorta in 2003. She used to describe a field just like you did. After 7 years of nerve pain she died from cancer in 2010. Anyway, thanks for your post. Made me smile.
Honestly even if I thought she was crazy, I wouldn't say that she was wrong and ruin the moment she's having. Denying something like that just sounds cruel.
When my Aunt was on hospice, right before she passed, she sat right up in her bed and looked up at nothing, smiled, and reached her hand out like she was holding someones hand, layed back down and passed away. My whole family freaked out. I just assumed it was my Grandpa coming to see her to her next part of life. So I hope!!!
My Mother inlaw did that too. She suddenly sat half upright with both arms reaching out like someone was helping her get up, then she fell back down and passed away. Id like to believe a loved one came for her. 😊❤
I believe it is our loved ones in heaven grabing our hands to lift us up to the light that everyone sees and once they grab a hold of your spiritual being thats when the shell that god gave you to keep ypur soul in falls back to the bed and they are on the other side ❤️❤️
She’s close to death… Less then 24 hours… There’s a book about the last week of a person’s life, and it can get it down to almost the hour…. When your hours away you start to see dead family members, my dad started crying out for his mom like he was reaching for her before he went unconscious… The death rattle is the most disturbing thing
It is indeed true because the person whom I am take cared of passed away last Feb. 04,2024. Saturday night before he passed away he's uttering names of people that we don't even know then 5 in the morning of the 4th of February when I went to his bed to check on him, he's already gone😢😢😢. Please include Yuda to your prayers, he was a sweet and lovely person and he'll be turning 97 this 22nd of August. I missed him so badly, some of my friends told me not to be so attached to him but I love him,I respect him and also his family because they loved me like a family. 😢
Three nights ago I woke up around 3 am. 5 mins later my phone rang. My mother informed me that my older brother just died. She told me she was sleeping and heard and felt a loud thump in her bedroom. She got up to investigate when his widow called to tell her. We then called my other brother and he was already awake too! So all three of us (who live hundreds of miles away from each other) were all inexplicably were awake when my brother died. Spirits are amazing things.
The same thing happened to my husband when his brother was killed. I was sleeping in a different room bc he snores badly and he came running into both my daugters room and mine saying he woke up because he felt like there was something above him and thought that something was wrong and was checking on us. He went back to bed and about 20-30 mins later i was woke up by my phone ringing and it was my father in law asking to speak to my husband i knew it wasnt good bc it was 3am and nobody gets a call in middle of the night unless its bad news. So he woke up feeling like something was wrong at about the sametime his brother had been hit by drunk driver. I have no doubt that feeling of something above him was his brother
My grandma used to hear thumps on the wall when things like that happened…..or one time, she wrote in her Life Story, that she saw a faint blue light at the foot of the bed. I’ll have to read it again to see why….been a while since I read it. My sister said that when our grandma died, it was told to her that grandma was found dead, half sitting up, reaching out. Mmmm.
my brother pass in April and I was awake feeding a 2 day old kitten that it's momma had died two days later>>When I woke up and looked at the clock it said 3:27 am...My brother death certificate states he died at 3:27 am
I work in a hospital and I went into a patients room to grab something, and the patient asked me, “can you see the little girl with a RED dress near the door?” I look over and I said no ma’am, I don’t. Later that day I passed the hallway where her room was and seen ppl outside her door crying. I asked a nurse and she said the patient had passed away. This happened 6 years ago and it still gives me chills.
And that was Satan in the little red dress waiting to collect another soul. I don’t know why it’s hard for some to believe. These demons will show up waiting on your last breath. The soul matters if you haven’t served Christ. Happy Satan waiting.

She was speaking in Chinese. When my father in law was dying and it was my turn to talk to him he laughed and said monkey girl. All grew quiet thinking he was calling me a prostitute. I knew he loved me and he was laughing so I passed it off. He died on my older sons birthday which was that same day. Four years later that son gave me my first granddaughter, born in the year of the monkey.❤

@@raya6197 I speak very little Chinese. My late father-in-law, who was dying, is the one who said « monkey girl » to me which I do understand. The rest of the family speaks Chinese so of course heard him too. He did love me and treated me like a daughter so I had faith he was not calling names. He was also happy and smiling. Monkey girl will be 7 this spring. I know he loved me because they always said I brought good luck to their family by having their first grandson.
I used to deliver prescriptions to nursing homes and a lady in the lunch room seemed healthy enough but saw children outdide in the rain (they say people report seeing children and other when they are nearing death) she kept mentioning to them to come it its cold and raining and told me to "tell those kids to come in from the rain" I knew what was going on because i heard stories of this on reddit. It made me want to cry. For the lady and because i witnessed it and its no joke. Stuff exists outside this physical realm we are truly never alone.
My sister is law was nearing her last hours left here, she started talking to someone none of us could see or hear. She said “when” “yes, what’s the boy’s name” soon after she passed there was an update about a young boy that had been abused and had been in the hospital, the update said the time of which he passed and it was just a short while after my sister in law. She loved children and I have always wondered if an angel had asked her to help him crossover with her. I like to believe she was able to help him crossover and help him not to be afraid. 😢
My Mother was in the hospital and said there were demons in her room and was very scared. So I brought her a picture of my Dad and a picture of Jesus and she immediately felt more at ease. When we moved her to another hospital for better care, we also brought the pictures. They made her feel safe .
My grandfather was a very religious man and a pastor for pretty much his whole life. He lost a brother when he was in his late twenties whose name was Lee. My grandfather in his seventies probably 45 + years after the loss of his brother, on his Deathbed he put one hand in the air as if reaching for something and said "Lee? Oh Lee! I've missed you." And got a huge smile on his face. Pretty much the last words he said. Was a wonderful man. So glad his suffering is over but I miss him daily
At 98 years old, my grandmother in her final week was reaching both arms up and excitedly calling out "Jesus, Jesus". Before that, she saw her son sitting on her bed... he had died of lock jaw at 3 years old, back in the 1930s. It's amazing to witness this.

My very down to Earth grandfather was in hospital during his final days and pointed to nothing and said 'look, there's Sissy (his younger sister) what's she doing here?' When I went home I was told Sissy had passed away around 12 hours before. My grandfather didn't know, he passed away the next day. Sissy came to help him pass over
It's the process of dying. As a nurse I can confirm it's natural to see loved one's that have passed away. The angel's are there also. It's actually amazing.
As a hospice nurse I can say I witnessed this countless times what was nice was I noticed I trend of woman that were dying that had miscarriages seeing their babies in the room … that was so incredible to witness ❤️

My wife did this before she died. She was 34. She would stare off like someone was talking to her. She told me seemingly prophetic things about myself. She did this the whole time she was in hospice.
my grandma did the same thing in the few days before she passed away too. She spoke in fluent polish [which she's never done before in front of me] to her father, one of her sisters, and her grandmother. She also, after falling asleep/unconscious before she ultimately never woke, she was in a dream like state 'wandering' through the other side, talking to her dad, and then she would cry out for him like he had suddenly disappeared. I witnessed it with my mom few days before she passed. My dad died 6 months prior- she spoke to my dad all the time. She was very clear, no dimentia or confused. Ive told her several times Dad is not here anymore, she only smiled. Died peacefully in her sleep 5 days later.
When i worked in a hospital we had a volunteer from our department that was in the hospital passing away. My co-worker and i went to go see her and surprisingly were there as she passed away. Her last words were "mama"!. I got chills and we were both stunned. I truly belive her momma came to get her. ❤
Three days before he died my 90 year old Dad said his mother was with him, with other relatives. He was delighted to see her. I told him I was so happy to meet her after hearing so much about her. He smiled hugely.
I'm a nurse and I do know these things happen. I can tell you personally that my Mom called for her Mama and brothers and sisters that had past. She had.conversations with them. I firmly believe when it's time to go your most loved ones come to go with you.
Do you know my grandmother passed away in 2012 the day that we buried her at a Catholic church a white 🕊️🕊️🕊️ impaired in front of the church. It stayed there until we left but when the lady said that there was a girl standing there by her bedside, that means a guardian angel is taking her to heaven.❤❤❤

My grandmother saw things before her death. She would get so frustrated because her daughters (and everyone else) were trying to tell her nothing was there. I told my grandmother I believe you. She was so relieved and calm. I asked her to tell me about it. Her anxiety went away. She was relieved, she was content that someone listened to her and didn’t tell her otherwise. I am glad it was me.

My great grandmother was 100 when she passed and she said she saw young women walking in and out of her room and aboriginal men (we are Australian) and none of my family believed her other then me and my mother, we would sit there and talk to her for hours about them and shed be so delighted someone believed her and talked to her about it. My mom said she could see a roller-coaster. It was just the drugs. I died for 3 mins. Legally dead and it was nothing but a black void. Scary and definitely NOT peaceful.
I’m so glad you told her you believed her ❤ Typically in hospice setting, the nurses and care staff will advise the family to “go along” with the patient in what he/she is seeing. Comfort them and not try to convince them of anything. Just let it go. I’m so glad you did that for her 😊
My grandfather in hospice said a man came and told him he'll be back to take him to the woods. He wanted some money and a pack of cigs to take with him. We got it for him and he passed hours later. He loved the woods and hunting.
Before my mom passed away. She always smiles at the door, and in the window. She always said this, hi papa' hi kuya' then she always sings her favorite Carpenters song. My Uncle said it's normal when someone is dying. Good spirits visit us when we are dying to guide us to heaven. That's what my uncle said. Sorry for my bad English. I worked in a nursing home and saw this all the time. One lady who was dying that I took care of while I was pregnant looked at me when I walked in the room, pointed to me and said, I can see your son in your body. I was indeed pregnant with a boy and just found that out, there is no way she could have known as I didn’t talk about it in her room ever. It was crazy and I’m glad I had a witness with me or nobody would have believed me
My mother in the last few weeks before dying, told me she saw her father. He told her he would be there when her time came to cross over. I think she felt comforted by this.
As an RN that worked for 20 years in Long-term care, this is definitely a part of nearly every patient death I experienced. Always see someone in the corner of the ceiling (usually "Mom"), or the "little kids".
As I wrote to others. While I know there is something more. As for being near death I am not always convinced it's real. In the patients mind yes it is. But chemical changes are going on. And perhaps less blood flow. Or oxygen. But your brain can go thru dream like states. Or childhood memories. Or just thoughts of others. My grandmother said the music was beautiful up here. Was she truly hearing? I don't know. But she had stomach cancer. This was in 60s. She was home with tubes all in her. Was it lack of oxygen? I don't know. But at same time I question if it was her own mind making up things she believed. And yet maybe she really did see heaven. I can only hope
A few weeks before my mother passed away, lying in her hospital bed, she started smiling and pointing to a corner in her room, I asked her what she was smiling about and she said " my sister, don't you see her?" I said yes because it made her very happiest. Her sister had passed away 4 years before. I think her sister came to comfort her in her last days❤
I worked in Palliative Care, end of life care. Some patients see dead relatives who come to help them cross over, some see children, babies and some see dark entities. For the ones who see dark entities they try to run from their bed. We sometimes find these patients try to hide on the floor or under their bed just before they pass
I felt sharp things hit me as I put my feet under the covers then I saw that they were snakes crawling under my skin and into me. These so-called snakes I saw also tore up my stuffed animals for me to see blood in their stuffing and they also left piles of dead torn up kittens that I was convinced that my hospice nurses had brought over. The strange thing is I like snakes but the kind I saw don't exist as they were thick like a constrictor but had long fangs. Idk I passed a few hundred times from hospital malpractice. One time I stayed gone 6 minutes but only remember "dying" once
I was there in hospital when my grandma died and there was a presence/visitor there before she died. The lights flickered and she took her last breath. There was a different energy in the room and it’s weird to describe, unless you experience it yourself. It was lovely to know that someone possibly my grandad came and got her. 😢❤
As a Hospice R.N. I sat with many patients and witnessed their hallucinations or visions. The most interesting one was one night when two women at opposite ends of the hallway claimed to see a cruise ship coming to get them. Neither of them knew each other and no one told them that the other saw the ship. There was also a man watching people he said were "making a movie" in his room. So amazing.
My great grandmother passed came bk to life said that train was too full. She’s waiting on the next one.. Dr Had to change the time on death certificate he told us he had never witnessed anything like that before..
I believe they see what they really see. Its way to common for someone passing or who has passed and came right back to see there loved ones whom passed or other beautiful things.
I’ve worked in long term care for over 30 years and I can attest that this IS 100%TRUE! Very often they see and hear “little children” running and playing! It’s really a beautiful thing to witness as they begin to transition to their final stages. ❤
That’s true, during our Mom’s last days, we were gathered around her, when she told us not to block our grandparents who were already dead years ago, on her last few minutes she uttered “DAD” (died 10 years earlier) and took her last breath 😢😢😢. They say the relatives will fetch them and the last would be the dearest and closest love one, we felt sad but relieved that she’s now with our father again.
I remember my mom saying she seen someone behind me saying "I thought she was dead".. Then she seen an angel coming from the hospital clock she was pointing to the hour 2.. What's crazy is she died exactly 2 months later.. She was 42 with colon & bone cancer when she passed..RIP MAMA
I worked in a nursing home for 5 years. I have to say this is common. And I truly believe they see somebody pleasant and peaceful. Sometimes it’s a family member who passed. But on every occasion. They saw someone that made them smile and gave them a sense of peace. And they usually passed that day or in their sleep that night. It even put me at ease. A feeling that someone really was there .And it was a peaceful encounter. I believe in the afterlife.

My mom and walked through with my Grandfather, he was greeting deceased family members and as he did he visually became healthier looking, his color came back, the brightness in his eyes, it was a beautiful experience. When he passed I had to step out of the room, I walked outside the door and stood there for a while, when I came back in, my mom asked me if I'd get that nice orderly to come back in, the one who pulled the cover up on Grampa and comforted her, she said she didn't thank him, and wanted to....NO ONE came in the room. NO ONE. But my Grampa was covered and everything disconnected from him...when the nurses finally came in, they wanted to know WHO did everything...there was NO MALE nurses or orderlies working that night!!! My Grampa's Angel taking him home!!!!
What a beautiful, moving story. Thank you for sharing it. My 95-yr-old mother started speaking to her "Mommy" a couple of days before she passed. And it made me cry hearing her say "Hello, Mommy" in a surprised, childlike voice, bc when my grandmother was alive, they were not close and I never heard my mother call her anything but Mum. It was so touching, bc it suggested to me that all things are healed between us and our families before we pass, and only love is waiting for us.
I have a theory. What if that girl should saw was her when she was younger? She just doesn't remember because it was so long ago. Maybe its something like your life flashing before your eyes but its a happy memory. Maybe it was her birthday and that was the happiest day of her life. I'm not sure if this is correct, is it only a theory but still, it could be possible.
I had a near death experience. I saw my deceased father. He told me I needed to go back to take care of my children. I opened my eyes and I had unknowingly been crying. My mom and sisters were at my bedside praying for me at that moment.
While I witnessed my grandmother say the music is beautiful up here. I believe there is more. But at same time I'm not convinced of NDE. Because when a person is NEAR death. The brain can suffer from lack of oxygen. Or other chemicals. And cause dream like states. To the person it happens to it is absolutely real. And nobody can tell them it wasn't. Because it was real to them. But after reading and listening to stories over and over. They are all different. And very rarely does person go to hell. And the ones who say they did. Amazingly they got to return Because they weren't done on earth yet. I don't believe you can go to hell. Witness destruction death. Etc. And be released. Anyway I do believe in God. I just don't believe IN NDE
Yes, my mum kept seeing people in her room and was asking me who they were. After a few minutes, I'd ask her what about the people she would look at me and ask me if I was😁 alright. And 3 nights before mum passed, I heard my dad talking to her but couldn't understand what he was saying. Dad had passed 19tn yrs earlier.. I knew then dad was here for mum.❤ they adored each other in life..
Before my grandfather I walked in his hospital room, every one was upset he was trying to pull tubes out, yelling he had to go, I said what is wrong. He said your father is outside with the car door open waiting for me, (dad died many years before) I went to the window and told him , yes, I saw him him, but stay in bed dad will wait for you. I had to reassure him over and over again I saw my dad waiting. He passed away during the night. And I’ll forever know dad was there.😊
My brother suffered a severe brain injury and for 13 days and I see you he was nonverbal. I watched him track the ceiling and he would just laugh and giggle and I know it was my mom that came and got him.💕🐺
I was working in a nursing home and I had a patient who told me to call her Nannie. When it cam time for her to pass she kept telling us she saw angels. She wasn't scared of them, but she was scared to go by herself. It still breaks my heart that I had to tell her I couldn't with her.
My mother's best friend was near death and I went to visit her and I mentioned my mother had passed and she said "oh she's not dead she was here the other day visiting me" which brought me to tears because mom died nearly 20 years ago. So I knew my mother was coming to guide her best friend to the other side.
I’ve lost all my grandparents but for one who almost died 10 years ago. All of them even her started talking to relatives like they were in the room just days before they past away. All of the relatives they spoke to had died years prior
I used to work at a hospital. There was a story that two little boys were roaming around the hospital. One little boy was dressed in a cowboy outfit and the other wore an Indian outfit. My mom was hospitalized and she once told me how could they allow children to run around the hospital late at night. I asked her to describe them and she described them as I had mentioned them. I would get complaints from patients that they too would see these two little boys running around. I never told the patients about our ghostly children. I never told my mother because she had cancer and I didn't want to scare her knowing that she would be in and out of the hospital.
These are what you know as jinn in Arabic. We are told in the quran that God made men and jinn. Men out of clay and the jinn out of smokeless fire. We can't see them normally but when we are close to death you can. And you see them looking like men but that's not they normal form. Either people we know or not know.
Like I said the jinn are just another creation of Allah's. Try and find a quran to read about them inshallah. I have explained what I know. We can't see them normally but I can see that some people see them before the pass away.
My NDE brought my mama to me. She was there to tell me it wasn't my time and I should go back. I didn't want to come back, it was so peaceful. He had been gone 10 yrs, and when I came back, it felt like she died all over again to me. Nothing to fear, so beautiful.
My dad was at home hospice and was taken into the hospital, I seen him the morning he died, told him it was ok to let go..he died a few hours later. My grandma was with him the whole time, his eyes were closed constantly, even when I was there; before he passed she said he looked up in a panic at her and grabbed her hand. I don’t know what is waiting for us in the afterlife but my dad fought its ass for almost a year. Happy Father’s Day pops.
My mother just passed on june first..she was in the hospital waiting to come home on hospice..i asked her if she knew what was going on,she smiled & said yes we are going to the party!.i replied thats exactly right ill see you at the after party!!❤❤❤miss you so much already,i love you mom!!
