ENJOY!! Two small notes for you guys: 1) As you can hear I sometimes adjusted the volume of the audio recording. When in low revs the sound would be too quiet for you to properly hear. So I made those parts louder. 2) Overall the BOS is not louder than the stock exhaust. But when riding you can hear a little more from it because of the way the exhaust is shaped. Which is nice!
That's ideal. The SC Project can on my bike isn't actually louder, but sounds much, much better than stock. I think I'm getting old, as I don't want an overly loud bike anymore 😅
Clear your caches guys, sometimes it’s just the browser or the application, or the device settings after an update. Personnally I receive always notifications from Schaaf 🤷🏻♂️.
It's "what a good exhaust system on a 1000cc bike sounds like", that's the word you're looking for. Something you'd never hear on a literbike modded in the US, because they 98% of the time run their bikes pretty much straight piped and they're always too loud. "too loud" meaning your ears bleed before you can even hear any character from the bike.
Even the regular exhaust sounds like a Ferrari GTO, when flogged. After having ridden on and thoroughly rinsed my ears with its noise, I asked myself how can one get good gas mileage, or keep his/her license with such a symphony at the ready 🤣
I have one of these "2021 S1000XR Sport"... I love it! I also have other bikes now and had a lot of bikes in 35 years riding, but this one is probably the most complete... it goes fast, comfortable seating position (I'm 50 🙄) and when I want to tour, I just put the panniers and the top case on and it does that great too! Although... I'm not really a "touring" guy... what I really like is to go fast without my back hurting. 😂
Another great video. I really envy the roads you get to ride on. Perfect tarmac and wonderful hairpins. The ticking of the exhaust at the end after you ragged the bejesus out of it made me smile. I have had my red XR since 2017 and it still gives me stacks of pleasure every time I jump on it.
I always enjoy the sound effect when the description shows up and disappears on the videos, already a 'trademark' of yours. 🙂 And the bike...no comments. WAAAANT!!! 😆😍 Thanks for the vid! 😊
Fantastic sounds. You are a fortunate man to have the opportunity to produce such high performance music!!! Every motorcycle blooded man should get such a chance! Ladies too!
Thanks for the video. That machine sounds awesome. And you always have to best roads to ride on. I'd have to ride a few hours away from home to find a twisty road like that.
I don't know why I love this bike so much, but I really love it. Thanks for the great riding my firend, always a blast to watch your videos. greetings from germany!
Nice ride, like always mr schaaf. I like the xr a lot. Keep on making this stuff, i always have a good time watching your content. Die Linke zum Gruß mein Lieber
Oh my lord that is glorious! I have been holding onto my Vfr800x as I love it and nothing seems like a suitable replacement but it now seems we have a winner!
Natürlich sagst du Aufhören, denn exakt was du kritisierst, ist das, was meine Videos ausmacht. Mal schauen, wann. Bis dahin gebe ich 1% der Motorradzeit Gas. LG
Hi Schaaf! Great video as usual, huge fan of your content (I used to fantasize about the F900XR until I got it thanks to watching your footage in Spain again and again). I looked over the tons of videos you have and other than the questions and answers (which I saw briefly but didn't find anything related either) I fail to find a video about your gear. How do you get such clean exhaust sound without the wind? This might as well be one of the keys to your channel so if it's confidential information, I understand. Keep it up! ✌️✌️
Normally not into 4 cylinder bikes, but everytime I hear one of these beamers, I'm pleasantly surprised. Especially in a Schaaf RAW with a Boss exhaust 👌🏻
Hey Schaaf, great video and epic sound 😍. Just wondering if this exhaust is fully legal (eu licensed) I saw the baffle is in but not sure about thelicense . I enjoy the occasional german rideout so thats why . Thanks!
Hi Schaaf, thanks for the vid. Sorry if you covered it already somewhere, but I would like to ask about your opinion about the suspension. How does it handle bad roads compared to the GS? Just to understand my question better, I had an S1000R (Euro3), which was rock hard in soft mode and now have the R1250GS, which is very good on that front. I just miss the inline 4 engine. Thanks in advance.
Hope to see Schaaf ride a Triumph Speed Twin any time soon. And @Schaaf yeah I know the drill, don't post the RU-vid video in which you explain that you don't get to choose the machines you're driving. 😂 I'm not a first time Schaaf watcher, you know. 😁
