Tremendous and captivating! Cant stop watching him absolutely rip, as electric guitars were made to do! Takes me back to psychedelic 60’s to in SF. AIRPLANE, DEAD, BLUE CHEER, etc , etc ., I saw Jeff Beck at Winterland or the Filmore. He lulled me out, trippin on his instrument, then got me up and gurating when he started playing theme songs from TV WESTERNS Rawhide, Bonanza Cheyene,etc , etc.,LOVE what he’s doing and how interacts with people!!! I'm in tears! I was kind of caught off-guard cause this song meant a lot to me too and I haven't listened to it in years. Your ability to improvise and learn a song in an instant still surprises me. But this I realized-your covers/improvs, they're of songs you never heard before, for this they'll never be entirely accurate when you play them on the spot, but they create a different kind of feeling altogether: it's kind of like memories (for those who've known the songs) being translated and expressed into music. It's like holding onto feelings and melodies that have begun to fade or become vague over the years. For you, it's piecing together and trying to find the right melodies to songs you don't know, and you do it so casually and make it seem easy; but what it sounds like is...it sounds like the sharp razor of love trying to gnaw at the chains of time-it's true nostalgia manifested in music. And I can't think of a higher test of skill and musical sensibility. Bravo, man! Much love and respect.

I hear ya. I'm a guitar musician as well. Everything you said is bang on. I like him for the same reasons especially that he doesn't have a huge ego, so common amongst guitarists especially. I have always said their are two types of guitar musicians: those who play only to impress people and those who play just because they love music and playing for other people's enjoyment. Hi Dovydas... Just recently lost my brother. I woke up to some RU-vid's playing after I had fallen asleep and you were in them. When this video came on I was brought to tears. I feel YOU should record this song just like you did it in this video (of course with lyrics). Your take on the song is one of the best that I've heard, and, since hearing you play this I have looked up a lot of versions applicable for a memorial service. this song brought me to tears. fly high Rachel. a year later and still as strong as the day you sang it. blessed is she among the angels. I am a pancreatic cancer survivor and have lost many family members to cancer starting with my mother at the age of 18. my Pop was by my side thru some of the time while i was sick. i just found out he has got pancreatic cancer like i just had. God spared me and i don't know what God's plan is with my dad, but i will have to give it to God as i did with myself. If he passes i would ;like to dedicate this song to him as well. you are the MAN ! keep playing and tickling our ears even for the short while that we are here. God bless you Miss Joni for sending this song out there for it to find Rachel and mine own ears. Thank you Dovydas.

I'll bet you he knows the song from start to finish now. I had forgotten how good it was I mean we seriously grew up with good music and this guy just takes me back to my youth everytime I hear him..this is a funny side note..I was doing talk txt and ya know how it can mess up what you're trying to say? When I said "hear him" it wrote ..eargasm. didn't even know that was possible but when you think about it that's kinda what he gives us..I think I just had my first eargasm..

@@terireed3740 I think you're right bud. We definitely had some incredible music. I missed the 60s but it carried forward in my family home. Eargasm is right. ; ) This young man also has a wonderful set of talents that he is utilising wonderfully. I guess the heartfelt attachments we have with music from our past is that we experienced these tunes with less complicated mental and emotional entanglements. Ever now and then when I'm in a mood, I look up on Spotify, Jim Reeves and his 'Twelve Songs of Christmas'. Or a multitude of others this morning while driving to the office, I was listening to Willie Nelson and his 'Red Headed Stranger'. Then I shifted to 'Folsom Prison'.
