I once heard, that when you speak someone's language, you speak to their hearts. We all saw how those ladies lit-up, when he started speaking Russian to them.They even started dropping money in the donations- bucket, before he even started playing their song request. Great Video!

@@aleksejjovanovic986 also it's not uncommon for lithuanians to speak russian, as far as i know. it's still a country that was a part of soviet union, and most of the gen x people have learned russian at school. i know some people from lithuania, latvia and estonia, and they speak russian pretty fluently, but have a distinct accent. but they've told me that most of the young people, especially from smaller towns, only speak their native language.

Russians are awesome. Living in Sacramento, we have a huge Russian community here, and I haven't met one yet who wasn't really cool. I've got many Russian and Ukranian friends, and they're solid people.

@@Chatti16 - I think you're right. Being an 80's Cold War kid, I tend to lump all the Slavs together as "Russians". Even my Ukrainian friends, I still consider them "Russian" even though I know they're not. I'm probably a horrible person for doing that. lol

Yeah. I'm from New Zealand and when I travelled in Russia in 2014-2017 one of my favourite things was to go into a cafe, see that it wasn't on the menu, and ask (in my very basic Russian) if it was possible to make a Flat White, our NZ style coffee. It was amazing how often this would get a very enthusiastic "конечно!" and they would take great care in making it, complete with NZ fern leaf pattern from froth. Even in places such as Kazan or Sochi, not only Moscow and SPB.

There are simply some of my favorite songs that have been abused and beaten to death and HotRS is one of them. It deserves to die in peace. Not be subjected to being the subject of every friggin' sideshow, tv show, and wannabe that happens every 15 minutes! lol - that's all. Kudos though - whatever you like man. Have a good one.
