Por lo que veo, la policía montada no dice o hace nada por proteger al caballo. Así es como deben ser???.!En mi opinión no debieran permitir tanto agarrar al pobre caballo es una tortura para él.
Not until they ask the King's Guard first if they say no it's no and if you do what you want and you get bit that's on you and not the King's horse or the King's Guard it's all on them and they should pay thier own hospital bills.thats how I feel.
This is how I see things. Perfectly gentle well behaved horses come to the Horseguards and within days of being exposed to people’s behavior start nipping, pushing people, and kicking off. My conclusions, it’s the humans’ fault and it’s known as abuse and bullying. They can call it anything they want, but when you watch these people crowd in on all sides so that the animal is trapped and multiple hands are grabbing at it. What do you call it?
Eu chamo estupidez porque é admitido esse desconfortos ao cavalo tem que ser proebido com mais rigor com esses turistas que só querem aparecer nos vidios fico desolada com esses Dizer o que mais😡😡😡😡
This is a perfect description of the situation! The only thing I'd like to add is that I don't understand all the people who become 'gravely offended' at any suggestion that the horses are being mistreated. The truth of the matter is that the tourists are treating the horses terribly and it's being allowed. It doesn't matter how well taken care of the horses are, since they're allowed to be subjected to 'this' at the same time. It's a subject that gets commenters really riled up and I'm sorry about that, but the facts are the facts. Forgot to mention that the constant head bobbing by some of the horses can be a symptom of anxiety and aggravation.
But the Guards need to say something too when the horse is bouncing them around. They're stress, crowded in by those students and having their hands all over their mouths is disgusting. There should be custodians next to the guardhouse who speak different languages making it better for the guards, the horses and the people. I mean these kids were standing inside the guardhouse and she said nothing.
@@ibisparada9015 I don't care what they were told, and if this is true than the public outrage should be directed to whoever made this directive. Their duty is to their mount!
@@valkyriestealth People don't pay attention to signs. I have a "do not touch" sign on a display of weaponry. The only time anybody reads the sign is if I have a bloody hand next to it. People are dumb.
Did you see the girl in the green hoodie? She 'tsk tsked' the horse, she was lucky it didn't bite her finger off. That horse is saying "NO ! DON'T TOUCH ME ! I'M NOT PLAYING WITH YOU ! BACK THE HELL UP !"
The horse gets fed up all these stupid people touching the face, the side of the face etc. Wonder how they would like it if it was done to them, rub of the nose, rub of the forehead, rub of the side bet you'd soon get fed up.
Why do the guards allow people to put their hands on the horses? There needs to be a NO TOUCH policy. WAKE UP GUARDS, PROTECT YOUR HORSES. You can't be too careful, people will take advantage of an opportunity when guard is not alert. DO NOT allow random people to give them something to eat.
@@shell9404:. I've often wonder, for those who speak English, if they can read. They act as if the sign is not there, or possibly, for everyone else but themselves.
It's not their job to decide what to do. They are only following orders. If only we could imprison people who disobey the signs! That would really make a difference in the behavior of these people.
such stupidity and ignorance, the horse is very agitated , but these idiots keep approaching him just for a stupid picture the horse in there for a reason people
Wow, the extreme rudeness of some of these people walking right in front of somebody who’s already trying to get a picture and not even caring and laughing as they walk away that poor woman to dare for several minutes and finally gave up
The poor horse, he must feel overwhelmed with all the fussing and touching. Why can’t people just stand next to him and have their photo taken without distressing the poor beautiful creature. 🐎
I don't think these are considered Horse Guards. Their Royal Horse Artillery. They pull big gun carriages in teams, not sure how many to each team. There's some videos on RU-vid of them in action doing that.
This is not on, this guard should have moved these young people away from the horse which is now greatly stressed, there should be a limit on how close idiots like these can get, if I had my way they wouldn't be allowed near the horse or guard, it's an invasion of guards and horses personal space this poor animal is now freaking out and it could have been completely avoided😡🤬
They sit there and let the tourons grab the reins and don't say a word. I've seen a couple of them attempt pull up on the reins, but the idiots don't understand. The female MoD officer tells them when she sees them doing it, but those guards need to be vocal.
@@RT-kx8pm • The "old guards" will be back at the end of their 2 week break at the seaside. The RHA are only here for the two weeks. Sadly, I believe they'll be back for another fortnight at Christmas.
It’s been said that they aren’t allowed to, they certainly did last summer though. Something’s changed or they would be, you can see by their expressions they’re more than aware of their horses discomfort and annoyance at being pestered.😿
1:35 - This poor horse is being forced to put up with people who are intentionally teasing it! There's nothing worse than the girls that run up and act as if they are horse whisperers! He's clearly had enough, but it doesn't matter, because it's not about him, it's all about the tourists! ~~~~~ 26:53 - I was never more happy than to see this guard coming out! He knows how to use his 'outside' voice! No one has the right to be touching him, and he doesn't tolerate it!! Well done!
@@Kate-qq3ez Not authorized to speak? I've seen many of them speak. And, I've seen several guards (including one in this video) tell the tourists to step back this year, most of them raised their voices to do it. I've even seen one shout AND drive his horse forward to get a rude tourist away and not because he was touching the reins. So, do you mean the gunner guards in particular? Edited to add: Come to think of it, I've seen a guard loudly tell a group of teen students, "One at a time," and didn't let them all swarm around the horse.
The first lot of tourists completely invading the poor horses space. You can see him getting more and more restless but they just don't move back. They should not have to put up with this behaviour
I can also imagine that many of these tourists are heavily scented with soaps and perfumes which can be unbearable for the horse along with people offering hands as if to give a treat but there is nothing but empty hands.
If they don't do something about all the human handling of the horse now I can see an accident happening where the horse or rider or both are seriously injured & by then it might be too late. I would say that more than half don't spend any money at Horse Guards so why cater to THEIR needs when the horses & guards are more important than a bunch off ignorant tourons.
The poor horse on the right has had enough of being touched and too many crowding around the guards should be allowed to tell them to back off and move away
I am really cross allowing these stupid people to distress the horse , are these guards not allowed to shout at these tourists, the guards need more instructions as how to deal with them, they are too timid. I am really upset, why dont the police keep them at bay.
The one guard who yelled, will draw over the police incase something goes wrong. Meek female guards who won't use their voice to put the visitors in there place are going to get into trouble one of these days. I have seen female guards just look at the guys who are holding all the reins and say nothing, then same guy comes back and does it again. Where as in the regular guards Blues & Royals etc. the female guards have a voice, a very loud voice. However if you are on Ormonde he has great crowd control.
She needs to shout like he did. Why didn’t she?! Ive told people to ‘back off my horse’ before. I heard one woman saying, We will stay away from that horse as he looks nervous “. Some people have sense at least. I find it hard to comprehend people shoving small children up to an animal they don’t know. Would they do the same with an unknown dog?! Beggars belief🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️☹️
Its absolutely ridiculous that these people are crowding this horse and you could clearly see just how agitated this horse was and they continued to just stand there for pics and still trying to pet this horse? How can a human being be this oblivious? I really wish the female guard would've shouted for everyone to get back and not crowd! I feel so bad for these horses, they shouldn't have to be so stressed out like that. 😞
I've been watching these videos for just a short time and I'm getting sick of seeing everyone being so disrespectful to the guards and miss treating the horses. What they need to do is put up those crowed barriers so the people can't get to the guards or horses. NOW!!!!
It’s a wonder the horse doesn’t rear up high with people crowding in on him… my word that is ridiculous and inconsiderate … looks like he had had enough… ‼️‼️
I don't believe that the guard has any say. The directive to tell people to stay away, don't touch has to come from upper up. About all the guard can say is "don't touch the reins" or '"get out of the box." Some one of these days when something serious happens, the higher ups may wake up and do something......hopefully,it happens sooner so no one gets hurt.
I agree! Something needs to be done, and a physical barrier could be dangerous if a horse panicked. A pictogram on the wall indicating that touching the horse is not allowed is needed too IMO. 🙂
PARENTS! Don't your children under or close the big Military horse. It is naturally a wild animal! The guide tamarind well the horse. But still it is a animal as tiger and lion. The horse has good training then your children! Be careful!
You never enclose people around any horse as the did. Their main goal is to protect themselves from predators. Its hard for people to understand this about horses. But, people, are a natural predator to horses. Think of it this way; a horse only survives in the wild if it can identify danger and escape quickly. Every thing is a threat in their eyes. In Their DNA A Horse see fear first, and if they feel treated they will flee!
I have noticed that when the shorter horses are on duty . People feel they can come forward to touch. Forgetting these ARE STILL MILITARY HORSES. LOOK AT THE KID RUNNING IN N OUT TO THE HORSE!!!!
The horse is distressed from too many people touching it and why the guard doesn't do anything to protect her horse at least tell those tourists to step back and give the horse some space. The horse tried to protect his eyes because a lot of hands were over his face.
I don't think they should all crowd in all him like that..they all touch take pictures , & fuss around him.&:stressd. He's scared..leave him alone. Back off. Its NOT A PETTING ZOO..Please. Why doesn't guard ay back off...please
Watching the hordes flap their hands all over the poor horse as many as 7 or 8 at a time has me fuming! Why is the lady guard sitting there mute while her horse is being stressed so badly? Better training should empathize the guard is responsible for these beautiful animals. Not the other way around! Ormonde! Hold classes!
Looking at this female guard I wander how much does she know about horse's she keep pulling back on the short rein connected to the bit that make the horse rear up I'm just saying
Need to add no touching the horse or standing too close. Perhaps need to mark the pavement where people are allowed to stand. They don't seem to understand that their behavior is irritating the horses. The smaller horses are .ore vulnerable to being harassed by the public.
The kids in the very beginning set the poor horse off getting all up in his face from all sides! That lady in the light blue jacket made it worse! The poor horse was stompy and she just stood there! When she finally walked away she looked put out like she got ripped off or something! And everybody just crowded back around before the horse really settled! Unreal, no consideration for the horse at all. Not cool at all!😿🐴❤️
Should be a new sign words added.... no touching horse or guard, no feeding. No closer then 4ft near guard. No disrespecting the horseguards or will be asked to leave.
Horses are quite use to crowds of people, They go through training to cope with all sorts of crowds, bangs flags etc and most things thst can annoy them. They do get spooked by unusual things that could be quite unexpected..even an empty plastic bag flying about, or high winds suddenly blow. Any thing a bit different. But they cope with it. They are only on duty FOR DONE HOUR PER DAY, 2 or 3 times a week for one week, then a military regiment change over. They are cared for far far better than a lap dog, have a good life. Seaside holidays too..
