A big part of sleight is distraction. Probably the biggest. And a big part of that is knowing when people are distracted. His timing was perfect. But his motions really sucked. If she was looking, he'd have been spotted, but she looked away for just a second. Lucky, probably, but still perfect.

SPOILERS Interesting, that really was mind games all the way, she spent a LOT of time wondering how she should convert her advantage meanwhile you kept playing super aggressive even when behind all the way and she basically lost on time from not being able to manage your attack. If you pause in the middle of his clock- throw, you can see that Eric chose to not only throw the clock, but also half his thumb. Very respectable to go through with such a hard decision just for us to see him throw the clock.
