You have the most soothing voice in the whole world joel. I love your work and I am an avid listener ever since I discovered you 3 years ago. I have binge listened to you ever since. I can proudly say that I have listened to all of your narrations, twice or thrice for some. I love you man. Love from nagaland, India 🇮🇳
How do you even convince yourself that an adult man from a BDSM site interested in your pictures only wants to be friends? And that's AFTER he initiates a meeting and deadass goes in for the smooch?
@@flednanders4601 you’re the only sane person here. We’d do the unthinkable when were that desperate for love. Coming from experience of an abused child which went on to be in abusive relationships.
I banked up enough of these episodes to have binged five in one day while sewing my best friend's birthday gift. Thank you for busying my hyperactive brain with stories while my hands can peacefully work!
@@tamaranada8319 At the moment, I'm sewing a small plushie for my friend's birthday. It's not much, and hand-sewn so I'd never try to sell them, but they are fun to squish and throw at various (hopefully) non-living organisms.
Warning to new listeners I've been addicted to let's read ever since the first story. if you're new to this channel be prepared Joel is the best narrator I've ever heard speak after one story you will be addicted to. Joel you're the best! As a let's read addict I need an upload everyday.
I never understood people who leave their doors unlocked, safe area or not why would anyone think that's OK 🤔 just out here living life on a different kind of edge
Re: First story. In the Philippines we have the aswangs. They are basically human but can transform into different sorts of monsters and they love to eat human innards and are particularly crazy about babies. You can hear gazillion of stories here of how a seemingly innocent person, usually a sweet old lady, will try to win over a pregnant lady's trust by giving her gifts and whatnot. Then one day when she gets the chance, she will rip the lady's stomach open and snatch the fetus as stories say that fetuses (even when inside the womb) smells like a extremely sweet ripe jackfruit for the aswangs. There are other versions, but I am curious to know if there are similar stories in other cultures or countries.
Well here in the U.S there has been true crime stories told were a woman befriends a pregnant women. One in particular befriends a pregnant woman by saying hey I’m pregnant too. They become friends and talk about pregnancy and what not. The woman pretending to be pregnant than cuts the pregnant woman open and takes the baby out the stomach and pretends like the baby is hers. Meanwhile the actual mom is laying on the floor bleeding out and eventually died. It’s sick.
Trust no stranger and never, ever get into someone’s vehicle (especially a van) people! My mom always told me “trust your gut, if it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.” Stay safe & healthy everyone and have a great weekend.
Monday’s , Wednesday and Friday he uploads new content at midnight on theses days . He’s got plenty in his play list. Unfortunately I’ve watched EVERY SINGLE ONE. So I’m on the ball come midnight on these days lol. Enjoy xx
Congrats! I know you are ready for it to hurry up and for the baby to arrive! Is this your first? I have 4...though I was always excited to find out i was pregnant I did not love being pregnant like some women do!😉🙂
Me too I’m 30 weeks . I want to pay him to do an extra long video I can listen to while in labour and hospital. I’d be happy to pay him and for him to upload it on yt ect too for everyone to enjoy. I hope he gets back to me . Congratulations btw. Hope you have an easy labour xxxx
Its very scary. I was in a weird situation where someone made it pretty clear she wanted to take my daughter. Still gives me the creeps and it was 15 years ago.
Have to admit on that final story, my first thought was someone entering through a secret entrance, =especially= as he said he'd changed the locks twice. Lucky for him, the landlord's mother wasn't violent, just loud!
The girl with the stalker police Dom she met on a forum is fully to blame. People in the community need to actually understand the psychology of it, but it makes sense why she's a sub in the first place.
@@arianneb3254 You're right she didn't ask for a stalker but she was blatantly dumb. If he kept hitting on her even after she rejected him and then she still continued to meet up with him, it is partially her fault. I get trusting people and wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt but he showed her immediately after meeting in person that he was a creep. However, he is completely crazy and wrong. Doesn't change the fact that it could have been avoided had she made better decisions.
Thanks for the amazing content Joel you never seem to disappoint me I love laying down in bed listening to your voice and stories that are scary or just plain creepy
I always listen to you when i do my makeup looks because your voice gives me goosebumps ( in a good way ) i started doing that last year and it became my everyday routine so thank you 😁 🖤 🖤 🖤
I watched some animations of some of my favorite stories of yours today: Maria and Coach Collins, Jimmy McNamara and knee capping. They did a great job 👍🏼
Story 2: Can't even wrap my mind around "befriending" a drug cop, out of all jobs in this world (and knowing each other from a BDSM site, he doesn't strike me as someone, who wanted to be "dominated by her", his whole behaviour points to the other way around); this woman's really very naive to assume, he wouldn't wanna hit on her, bc he's married with kids and she's also in a relationship. There's already a certain power-imbalance in their "friendship" right from the start and she's lucky, he didn't try to arrest and get rid of her boyfriend on alleged/(falsified) drug charges. Not saying drug related crimes don't exist, but their main thing is arresting non violent drug users, to catch their connections/"the bigger ones" ... and that's someone I wouldn't want to be "friends with", (he's likely also been looking for drug users on the BDSM site to begin with, initially believing it's something s3x work and kink related), mixing his private interests with his odd job of sticking his nose deep into others lives. Imo it takes a sadist to put people through withdrawals to make them confess and I doubt, he had to learn these strategies.
let me just take the time to tell you how much I love you my guy. You've really helped me mentally, if I could marry you then I would make the whole frickin world know I'd be wit u. LOVE YOU MY MAN!!!
😁 Ik the stories never end well bc of the people who strike up the conversations, but, b4 the storyteller gets to the obvious crazy part, I always catch myself wondering how in the world some of the things they do or say comes off as bad vibes lol. I guess I'd be a gonner bc all the first initial encounters always seem normal to me lol. Like if a woman was asking me how far along I was and guessed I was having a boy, I would feel zero threat as that is a perfectly normal thing to say. Obviously when the conversation turns weird with things being said that don't make sense I'd shift into feeling bad vibes. But not right off the bat like that lol. Not just that story but most of these scary stories when the teller says " I got a bad vibe or a bad feeling" I'm usually sitting here like.. How? Maybe I just need to pay better attention😁
Seems like most of the protagonists in these kind of stories are all insecure pussies bc they get the red flags even when people ask them their names. I totally get what you're saying here. I have never understood the reason people get bad vibes from regular conversations. It makes me feel like I'm totally insensitive. Or maybe, it's these people who are hypersensitive 😹
I love this channel I could just kick back on your voice for the rest of my life it's amazing 😊😊😊💜it's snuggly storytime💜💥I belive your on chilling as well that voice oh my God 💜
The story of the woman in her car who was approached by the crazy woman who had “car trouble” but was really trying to lure her to the guy hiding in the bushes I hope they called the cops and reported it.
I live in Canada, and of course, I don't look white. Despite having a little to zero accent everytime someone approaches me and insists on getting my phone number or tries to sell me something all of a sudden a pretend to have an accent and tell them that I don't live in Canada. Sometimes, I tell them that I am just an international student living with my uncle, who is somewhere close by or things like that. Ladies, if anyone approaches you and insists on getting your phone number, just tell them you are just a visitor and you don't have a phone number. Believe me, it works. I have avoided creepy men by using the same technique. It can be dangerous though if they think you are alone so be careful when you are using it.
The van story really almond made me ill , I can't imagine being in that moment between life and possible death or the unknown. It also pisses me off knowing there are men out there who think they have the right to hurt other people and forever change and damage another persons life just for their own sexual pleasure. The world is scary and mosters really do walk among us.
I have a rescue dog who has “issues.” He essentially wants to murder every stranger he sees. Most days, when I’m walking him, I veer far out of my way because I’m terrified that he’s going to bite some innocent pedestrian. BUT, at night, when I fall asleep to these stories, I make sure to tell him how much I appreciate having him curled up in my bed.
