There is a follow up with the story. The guy eventually did cheat on the sister, but after when they got married now they’re filing for divorce so even though the sister that was meddling was right, but you know it’s still none of her business.

Sometimes family just knows . My brother lived with my husband and I for over a year then went and proposed to his on again off again GF. I told my mother and him and everyone this was doomed . I didn’t go to the wedding that was in my town . I didn’t talk to anyone about the wedding . . . Within the year they were separated and then quickly divorced. Sometimes family just sees something you don’t . Once the Shone wears off of that new relationship and The sister sees how he treats everyone else , clarity sucks when the rose coloured glasses come off.
I almost guarantee if he is a narcissist, she just helped him TREMENDOUSLY! She gave him ammo to use this to have the sister putty in his hands. She made him the “good” guy so to speak, at least that’s what spin he will put on it. Oh he is going to love bomb her, and cry and say they are out to get him. Lawd! Sis you know you f&cked up right!?
I mean, the caller may be right tbh. Many ppl who have narcissistic tendencies will love bomb their partner and rush things QUICKLY. Then it turns left. So I’m curious to know how this turns out.
And she just gave them an extra push to the altar. And now her opinion, if it mattered a little before, has absolutely no weight now. Narcissistic people aren’t stupid at all.
I have been in the older sister position, but as hard as it is you can’t try to break them up. It sucks, but after the initial “are you sure about this” conversation you must back off and zip your lips. The only thing she was going to get out of this was a damaged if not permanently ruined relationship with her sister.
ya'll are coming down on her pretty hard. Yeah her sister is an adult but adults are very capable of being love blind. The caller (and probably everyone else) is noticing huge red flags she's choosing to ignore. Of course she wants to look out for her. She said he has a lot of narcissistic tendencies, and one is to rush into marriage with someone before the blinders come off. If it was one of your friends or family you'd be pointing this shit out too, because you'd want what's best for them. But you're basically telling this woman she's an asshole for worrying about anything besides her sisters initial happiness (which will wear off quickly once she's trapped in a marriage with a guy who treats her like crap, if the caller is accurate)
Oh no let's be clear if what the sister says is true then she has every right to worry but she also had no proof of infidelity or suspicion. She just hates him.
Even if that's the case, she can't force an outcome no matter how badly she wants it. Her goal in this situation is to stop them from getting married, that's not something she has any control over. The level of force she's approaching this situation with only serves to push her sister further into his arms. She's a grown woman means so much more than "she's allowed to make her own decision." It means she's *going to* make her own decision no matter what anyone else thinks or feels. She very well could've put a wedge between her and her sister. And if poop hits the fan, why would she turn to her for support knowing how Gung-ho she was from the beginning? Plus, maybe she's just a hater and has no real reason to dislike this guy. There was a caller who thought everyone else was on the same page as her about getting someone fired from work and it backfired in her face because reality didn't match up with her perspective. Maybe he comes across as a jerk because she's always been rude and suspicious towards him?

@@bosslogo6948 Yeah, they did a segment explaining Bert had to fire her. This was around the 14th or 15th of June. I know because on the Bert Show app you can listen to any segment separated by date. I believe it was a chemistry and negative energy issue.

I get not meddling in a grown woman's life, BUT, he's giving HUGE red flags that could put her in a dangerous or even deadly situation (Brian Laundrie ring a bell??). You can mend a relationship but can't fix dead 🤷♀️
I find it hard to believe the parents would want her to be happy in the moment for a lifetime of Hell of marriage if that's really what they thought this guy was going to put her through. It definitely seems narcissistic for him to send the flowers to the sister and his overall approach to all of this . He definitely seems to be more worried about proving a point then to make sure any issues were addressed .
This is exactly why I don't share my relationship status with my family I don't know why people just don't let people find out for themselves I feel like she called on him because they're doing something and she can't tell her sister to her face
