For their crime, the two samurai are captured and set to be executed. However, they are rescued by girl, who hires the duo as her bodyguards. Anime: Samurai Champloo
Nujabes died in a collision at the Shuto expressway. Things like this just keep happening outta the blue. Rest In Peace Nujabes! I never knew him but great music 🎵!
Lets get one thing straight, we aren't friends. We just so happen to be travelling in the same direction. Honestly such a great story. Short and sweet and never fails to entertain.
@@diarandomshit It's all consumer based, really. And sadly most good anime "live long enough to become a villain." People like to turn off their brains and get lost in seasons upon seasons of shows that HAD a great story but gets so filled with plot holes or retcons that they start losing the whole reason original fans even liked the show. Most of the 90's anime they brought back wasn't received well because they forgot why people liked it in the first place. Or the people that DO like them just don't use their brains during shows to understand why people DON'T like them.
I agree, this and parasyte the maxim are my 2 favorite single season series. I think they are both top 10 anime of all time. Samurai Champloo is phenomenal.
one of my favorites. They were bound by honor to help her first. and did everything to make sure it happened. even when she annoyed the crap out of them
They were bound by honor because of the deal they made during the coin toss. But the coin had tails on both sides - She cheated them from the very beginning. However, she also put her life on the line for them, so they didn't mind in the end.
@@cwolf201 Wouldn't a doublesided coin, have the same on both sides ? ie. it would be tails on both sides, thus a lie by omission, i guess ? Either way, she was definitely taking them for a ride. 😄
It's been a long time since I watched Samurai Camploo. It was always one of my favorites, because of the 3 friends' journey, but mostly because of the amazing animation and how the fights were proper fights. No toon-splaining powers and abilities throughout the fight, just action. Even now, that's hard to find in anime.
Well he didn't mistake Jin for one of the bodyguards, but he did ask him if he were and Jin told Mugen that he already killed them. Mugen decided to fight him since he figured Jin was much stronger than them.
I can't tell you how many times I've seen samurai champloo back when adult swim used to religiously air animes on the week nights of the same series on a loop and I'm now finally understanding the plot of samurai champloo!? I was way too young to fully appreciate samurai champloo's story. It's a great anime highly recommend.
Broo i watched most of your videos and i love the different slang/speech your putting into these videos like this one, even tho he has drip he has no money loool keep it up!!! maybe do Chivalry of a Failed Knight next, that'd be dope
It's from the same people who did Cowboy Bebop, which explains why it's so good. Nothing will be _better_ than Cowboy Bebop, of course, but it's still damn good.
Great recap👍 I watched the entire anime and yet you showed me somethings I didn't know and had forgotten. Your summarization was spot on continue the great work. If you haven't already do cowboy bebop.
How could she lie about the coin flip when they both saw the coin land on her forehead clearly on tails ? Unless she used a double sided coin that had tails on both sides.
