What's the screen quality like on a sunny day? Readable?

No issue. Nice screen readibility even in the mid-day diving in tropical like I do.

You have two models, one with the possibility of attaching and one without. You still need to buy the transmitter though.

They are very similar in capabilities. The biggest difference is the form factor. Which one is better depends on your preferences. Teric - wearable every day, smaller screen, means less information at once and smaller font. Perdix - bulky, but has more screen real estate. Another thing to consider is that Teric has a rechargable battery, so if it dies on you, you need to wait for it to recharge, wheras in Perdix you just pop a new battery in and off you go.

hi there do you know if you can configure it to show the safety stop countdown when in OC TEC mode? I know it shows it in the OC REC mode, but couldn't figure out how to get it in OC TEC mode.
