Are you hoping to find a few shed antlers this year? There are places you should be targeting to increase your chances. While being outside with the family is never a waste of time, you don't want to spend too much time looking in areas with a lower probability of having a shed antler. The patterns of the local deer herd are always changing, where the deer were spending more time throughout the hunting season might be different than where they are hanging out in late winter, when they drop their antlers. You should try place more emphasis searching within the areas the deer are spending more time from January to March.
