Nice test, I like how you have a pull station on that system. Does the heat and the CO portion on that detector have their own sub-addresses or do they share an address?

No I don’t think they each have a sub-address, the CO portion of the detector is only supposed to be used for detecting fire, not as a carbon monoxide alarm, same with the Apollo standalone CO detectors interestingly. I assume this is why they haven’t separated them although they may be separate as I haven’t really looked into it

nice test, how did you do the delay?
@roverfp
@roverfp 8 месяцев назад
On a Kentec, if you wire up an output to an input, you can set an output or input delay. I have an input delay of 90 seconds meaning when the output triggers, the input doesn’t trigger until the output has been active for 90 seconds, and then the input triggers the system to go into full alarm. An input delay can only be up to 3 minutes but an output delay can be up to 10 minutes I believe. Hopefully this helps!

Can't you just add a sounder delay instead on Loop Explorer? its what I did with mine.@@roverfp

Potentially, I haven’t really looked into it. I don’t think you can have it go from alert to evacuate with a sounder delay though, only from off to on?

I used this document to help me make my delay: kentec.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/tb-1023.pdf

Oh thanks this might be useful, and no I only used Loop Explorer to program a 1min delay before the sounders activate, not sure if you can do what your doing here.@@roverfp
