I remember this being filmed, it took them hours, they filmed it in our backyard. We lived at the naval weapon station in seal beach, most of the people you see in the video were actual service and family members. It was decorated beautifully, my dad was deployed at the time and made the song memorable, my dad recently returned from another tour and it came to my mind. All of those out there who miss your loved ones, i know how hard it is, keep them in your prayers and hope they come home soon.

This song was so important to us Army wives/husbands who's spouses were overseas in Afghanistan and Iraq, I couldn't help but cry while fearing the worse every time it played. There were plenty of songs for the troops and for the family, but this one was for us spouses.

My soldier has been gone for 2 months. We have 2 kids and 1 on the way while he is gone. This has been by far the hardest thing i have had to deal with. SO much respect for these ladies. They write their own music and play and sing as well and that's the right way to do it since they're sisters and struggled so hard to get where they are! My boyfriend doesn't leave until next year and this song already hits home with me. I know I'm going to miss him so much while he's gone. I'll worry about him everyday, he's deploying with a unit that work directly with roadside bombs. I'm just hoping he'll have at least semi-frequent access to Skype, so I can feel a bit better and know he's okay other than occasional letters in the mail.

I am a wife of a Truck Driver/ Soldier. The truck driving side does get easier. I have been exactly where you are. He would be gone for a month. Come home and head off to drill. Seemed we never seen each other. Now we are looking at Deployment. He leaves in 3 weeks. This will.be the furthest and longest we have been apart. I'm terrified.

My husband is deployed in the middle east, I am 5 months pregnant with our first baby.. He left 3 days before we found out we were expecting and won't be home in time for the birth. This is by far the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I miss him everday and can't wait to have his arms around me again. My man is in the Army and I'm in the Navy. He's been in for two years and I ship off to boot camp on January 24. I've been with him for two years and it never gets any easier. The hardest moment was when he went over to Afghanistan but he's back now and he's safe. He and I both are honored to serve this beautiful country.
