@@linusasbjrnsimonlautruplyn4537 good luck you're close to those four digits, as a 1400 and a former 900 I'd say something that would help is doing puzzles on lichess and thinking more about what your opponent would want!
"nakamura" is a language term in the Philippines for something that you bought cheap rather than an expensive one with the same or of much higher quality 😆
anyone know the song at 17:00??? I've tried finding chess music and it just distracts me and im used to his playlist after a few weeks and just think i might use some songs he plays when he streams, already used to them
It needs to cut the 2 squares that the king jumps. It doesn't need to cut the entire path. Infact it can be targetting the rook directly as well and u can still castle. I also had this misconception
@@Mike_Rottchburns I think Korchnoi famously wanted to castle in an important game where the rook was similarly cut off and had to ask the arbiter if it was legal, so you're in good company, frenchiefrench.
he missed the hanging queen on the game he lost. As an 1100 even I saw it. These kind of moments give me hope about my future 🤣🤣 Yes I have also checked afterwards with an engine. After he takes the queen with his bishop his own queen taken with a rook but then he was able to take back with his rook which he has missed it was the best move ;)
