thanks sir.I have a question,I understand that clearance is what we determine but penetration,is penetration what we decide about?what I see is that penetration happens anyway in downward movement of the punch so are we who decides in which portion of this movement penetration must happen? thanks again.
In the formula for clearance= 0.0034t (√Fs) where did you get the 0.0034? Is it always a constant or will it vary depending on the type of metal being cut?
