Another problem which will only get worse with this high density city living, will show up when they want to do any renovations etc. They will have to get used to paying inner London prices. Imagine having a new kitchen or bathroom fitted and coordinating the joiners, plumbers, plasterers, decorators, sparks etc... What a nightmare! Lack of parking and poor access for loading, unloading tools and materials, high cost of parking probably streets away if any at all, CAZ, tiny rooms with no useable outside work space. All this turns it into a real miserable frustrating slog for everyone including customers. If they can find anyone even willing to bother with all that hassle. It will be ££££'s
Working in construction over the years and on such blocks it's just lego land they is no sense of community spirt like we had on the housing estates . I was born on the flower estate and as a 80s kid I used to go shopping firth park at the weekends with my mum and gran everyone used to stop and have a good old chat on the estates it was the same sunny day everyone out having a good old chinwag .these block of accommodation you won't get that just a lot of drones each in they own world .
