I see the 2 games against Brighton. Sheffield Wednesday is a very good Team and play great Football. When i looked the Match and I see Players Forestieri, Wallace and a great goalceeper, i think they must play in the Premiere leage. I wishes the fantastic Team all the best in Wembley. Absolutely magical night, the best thing I've seen at Hillsborough for many years was, apart from Wallace's 25 yarder, was all those mobile torches in the ground, a brilliant sight that epitomised that the good times are back at S6. shame we couldn't make it at the final but this was a magical night. WAWAW!!!
Great performance by the Owls and hoping they keep this form and hold onto the 2-0 lead and defend it, by scoring another a few goals at Brighton's Amex (Falmer) Stadium next Monday's 16th May, 2106, 2nd leg and get to Wembley by most likely to meeting Hull City in the Play-off final at Wembley on Saturday 28th May, 2106.
King CC tactics spot on, just look at Brighton's injuries to our fitness, they we're trying hard but were knackered after their fight for automatic promotion. Welcome back Wallace... UTO
+TheBACbros Matias was known here in Portugal for occasional diving. The ref got it right, he blantly let his left leg go in search of contact when he could've just proceed towards goal. Great player none the less.
+mattyyhill It was the right decision by the letter of the law, but just exposes an imperfect rule. The rule is there to stop an unfair advantage, there was no advantage here, Forestieri was onside by the time the play counted. Strictly he was offside, the goal should not have stood, but the goal actually had absolutely nothing to do with him being offside when the play was made.
We're on our way we're on our way to the premier league we're on our way, how do we get there I don't know, how do we get there I don't care, all I know is Wednesday on there way!
Scratchayyy I'm sorry but you are looking at that with owl coloured spectacles. It's a dive, he plays the situation and he probably should of been booked
+Jamie Thompson Agreed, looking at his foot positioning it looked like he was looking for contact rather than to turn back again. Still, we've seen them given
Hopefully it all makes no difference. If both teams put out the same performance as Friday we're fine but I'd be quite surprised if that actually happened
Very, very poor timing by the linesman and referee for the disallowed goal. Didn't make a difference though, Brighton are up there as one of the poorest sides at Hillsborough this season.
Don't worry they put that right the next season home and away, and look on the bright side you've managed to get out of the Championship in the end , and Brighton have got out of it as well.
The disallowed goal was a good decision. The lad was definitely offside when the ball was punted forward. Wallace's goal could well have been disallowed, too. How could the Wednesday striker be deemed as not interfering with play standing where he is? Also, the incident near the end was not a penalty. The injury situation is too much for BHA. Burnley, Middlesbrough and BHA are easily the best teams in the Championship.
