I found a shortcut to do this much more reliably! Just hold down on left stick during the up air and tilt any direction on the right stick repeatedly. Every tap of the right stick to tilt tells the game you want to fast fall. This is way easier than trying to tap down on the left stick and resetting it to neutral position at the precise right timing.

I have always wanted to play shiek in ultimate but all my friends said they were bad and not worth playing. I finally just said that I wanted to play who I enjoyed the most and screw tier lists. That was about a month ago and I've already been able to accomplish so much by watching your guides and slowly making my way up the rankings in locals and I just truly wanted to thank you!

Thank you for making this video! Really glad to learn how to Sheik Loop and keep up the great content! One little correction I'd like to note for my girl Sheik Back air has 3 damage inputs actually. The Late weak b-air does 7.4 damage, Sour spot b-air is the one you landed at 9.6 and sweet spot makes a different sound and does 11.4 damage :D GG's

It is actually possible to do f tilt into up air at 34 ish percent, but it's a bit more difficult since you have less window opportunity. Ftilt and then do a small dash forward, shorthop up air using jump and A immediately after getting off the ground. Then pull the movement stick down.

Well this was a year ago, however I've been wondering how the tf you do the sheik loop's, (I never knew what they were called). I've been looking scince I've been watching napkins and man I needed this for becoming a sheik main, thank you!

Pivot ftilt can allow you to follow up with the drag down uair once if the opponent is DI'ing away. An example of this in a combo is fair or nair to run up pivot ftilt (you can only pivot during a full dash) drag down uair into whatever combo finisher you may be going for. Essentially, when you perform a pivot tilt, you are cancelling your turnaround animation, allowing you slide a little bit while performing the move. This can give the move a little more range in a sense, and because ftilt can be inputted either left or right on the c-stick, you can perform a pivot ftilt without the turnaround affecting the direction of the move.

the main thing for me was getting it true because my opponent always airdoges out. thank you. your channel is a hidden gem. one other question I have. how come on some charectors when I fast fall the up air my last hit hits them is it because I'm fast falling to late mabye I'm fast falling on the 3rd hit mabye.this mainly happens on falcon and shiek herself. I may have answered myself.😅👌 every sheik vid you make makes me love her even more.

Her fsmash has cost me kills so many times, for some reason people are going high enough the second hit doesn't connect smh. Good guide, I'm going to use the vanish tech.

Certain in air hit stuns cause her to miss forward smash. Such as Captain Falcon as you realized. You can also combo bomb into bfish at 50-70% depending on closeness and DI Down throw into up air works if they have little DI or you predict, works best at mid-stage. Its a somewhat reliable way to learn the loops before you get really good at them Forward throw comboes into up air if they DI in, making it perfect at ledge (at high percents) For a more ballsy play, you can forward throw into spike if they DI in (at mid to lower high percents) It helps to predict a jump,makes it more dependable Also, Im a local tourney (for now) Sheik main looking to educate people on her. Id love to help show off Sheik tech with you sometime!

At 17:05, I actually pulled that off against a Wolf JUST as his Side-B was like 2 frames away from connecting

Nice video :D crazy what Sheik is capable of. You make me understand her so much faster. Especially her loops. Just a little question: Its very easy for me to play against heavies. But I have a lot of trouble against pichu, Kirby etc. Is there anything I can do to make these matchups easier?

You should do videos on edge guarding, disadvantage and advantage state

If you do fast fall up-air and then try to go back, you can do more then 10 loops

I just set my right joystick to tilt (I play with Joy-Con grip) so I can do the F Tilt -> Drag Down Up-air loop easier.

Sheik discord has a lot of combos in the lab. What do you think about a video of those later?

My girl Sheik is already super amazing and deadly already. But what do you think about them adding like one tiny super hard hitting move/move with lots of knockback to her kit? I was thinking like making sweet spot b-air do 20 damage or giving it like 14 damage and making it do half rage falcon knee knockback... Just an idea :D What do you think?

How are you performing the short hop to drag down? Would it be better with C-Stick or A button more specifically.

This was good except for the Demo having to switch between Ganon and falcon cause he needed heavier character so the confirm doesn’t work on lighters

As a Ganon main that is interested in playing sheik, it will be very difficult to get used to the tiny damage.

Hey, just wanted to ask how you shorthop since the inputs are kind of hard for me to do and that could be since I only use the new macros (Jump + A and Jump1+Jump2). Would it help to learn regular shorthopping or maybe even stickjump for the loops?

Also the correct term for shield Nair hitboxes is strong hitbox and weak hitbox because you would still hit the weak hitbox even if you didn't land in the same scenario, but the combo into bouncing fish works because of the low landing lag of Nair, compared to the higher air lag

ah i see. for those who didnt really get the up air drag down or just couldnt get it to drag down. he said you have to short hop then up air. the reason for the jump is to hit max height so you can fast fall on the second hit.
