Also please don't say that sheik's output damage is low. Only people who don't play her (or don't play her properly) say that. She has flaws, but damage output is definitely not one of those. Not working hard actually, it's all textbook. F-tilt > Fair > F-tilt > Fair > occasional regrab to bouncing fish, or on midweights it's dragdown Upair > Ftilt > Upair repeat.... Sheik's early combos are bread and butter really. A lot of hits for not much percent indeed, which is just repetitive and boring, and frustrating to play against when you're stuck in a 15 hit combo. Classic kill is needle to bouncing fish too, not really hype imo, just okay to watch cause of her speed. Not a fan of the character tbh. That being said can't take Void's skill and achievements away from him
Matthias Giuliani sheik’s combos are hard af. Learning them take forever. You probably don’t think the character is hype/fun to watch bc you play characters that are skill-less/kill in 2 hits
Matthias Giuliani also, sheik has like so many kill options, tipper d-tilt near the ledge over 100 is a stock, tipper d-tilt anywhere over 130 is a stock, nair fish, drag down uair to usmash on platforms, even uair dragdown to f-smash depending on weight and percent
@Matthias Giuliani f tilt>up air loops is true for like 2 times and then you fall out with DI out and that’s not until 60%. F tilt>nair loops start working around 25% and only doing more than two is unoptimal bc she can do f tilt>nair*2>f tilt up smash or whatever the situation is. idk if you actually play sheik but you can look at any combo video and see the creativity. I’ve played peach for a long time and she’s not nearly as hard as sheik to pull off hard combos, even d tilt>up air loops as paisy isn’t as hard if you know what you’re doing. Just summing up her combo game as f tilt>nair loops and f tilt>up air loops is ignorant. Moonsad summed up the kill options except for needle confirms. I think there is a difference than having an opinion that’s ignorant and having an opinion that with actual evidence to supports your claim. I could probably name a lot of combos that doesn’t involve “repetitive gameplay”. What kind of sheik’s are you playing against? I do agree that most of her combos are bnb’s but it’s not like they last five years like it seems that you’re claiming. They last for 3-4 hits and she’s also fast so that would make them last for even less. You also ignore the weaknesses she has like a beginning player saying heavies are broken because they will not abuse the weaknesses of them. With that being said I still very dislike playing against heavies and you not playing against sheik is very understandable. I enjoy playing against her but I see the point where you just get hit for a long period of time, only to take 30%. Even if I disagree with it. Sheik’s weaknesses are obviously a lack of good kill moves (even though she has good kill confirms), and obviously raw damage output, but the thing people don’t talk about fsr is like 50% of the time she has a hard time getting in because she doesn’t have many disjoints, she also can struggle to get out of combos with certain characters because of fall speed, she is also the third lightest character in the game so sheik dying at 70 is not uncommon to see. She doesn’t have many combos after f tilt>up air loops that do a lot of damage and tipper d tilt is sorta hard to get if you’re not playing correctly. Up air loops stop at around 85% for most mid weights and they’re prob gonna be at around 100% when you do the finisher so you only have needle confirms and tipper d tilt>up smash at ledge to kill which can be hard to get. Those are bnb’s but you could go for edge-guards for needles b fish which is also not “free”, if they were we would do them every stock. Sheik being boring is also a weird argument because I can’t really say you’re wrong but if you look at other characters and compare I don’t see it. To me that would be like saying falcon is boring because all he does is get dair>knee to kill and up air strings to do damage. The weaknesses are the thing where it makes a character interesting. Nobody really thinks palu is interesting because of that, except some of the people who play her.
It's a joke about 1) Frostbite having a typo which switched the names of VoiD and Sheik and 2) VoiD carrying the character so hard he's basically Sheik at this point

In a perfect metagame, I feel like high-skill ceiling characters like sheik should be top tier, and characters that are easier or lower skill cap are mid-low tier

I repicked up sheik because even if she deals little amounts of damage she gets so many hits and those hits are so satisfying to land and combo so well. Now this is a top ten favorite character for me.
