At 20, dubai seemed like what a 20 year old would feel, but at 40, i keep on thinking about the labourers that have physically built this place. their living conditions, their families left behind at home, and the food they eat, the water they drink. For me, dubai has two worlds, the one on earth and the one below the earth..underground. both are completely different.

The minarates of the mosque are borrowed from Egyptian mosque, the curve are borrowed from Moorish mosque ie morocco and Spain. The pillars are borrowed from Indian mosque of Islamic times..this is indeed one of the finest mosque in the world.. every places of religious worship are unique and peaceful whether they are temple , mosque , church , etc...
