In response to what she said at the end of the video, it has made positive change. At least 3.6 million views. She is helping to bring out the truth. Strong fierce woman, I respect you.
I cried for her. What she said might sound unbelievable for people living in western societies, but as a woman coming from Iran I can easily believe all the terrible things she's been through.

While I sympathise with your feelings, if you knew what was going on in most countries you'd never go to them either. The UK, for instance, where most dirty money is laundered.
Father kills the smart daughters. No independent thinking person can sustained being locked up. She chose freedom knowing she may very well end up tortured and killed. Someone needs to make a movie about her.
@@oliviaglover9859 Assuming she's still alive in the first place, there's no way she can be recovered. You'd have to secure the entire UAE to find all the prisons and then search them. That would take years even with a full occupation without resistance, and that's a fucking impossibility now, even if they weren't our petro-allies.
@@oliviaglover9859 How can we find her ? All the people around her are terrorised. Someone needs to go there and contact the family members. The few one that will talk will probably give an official version.

I think she's being drugged to keep her docile. Someone representing a human rights organization went to visit her and she looked like she was out of it.
Joel Felix I wish we could say it was effective but the reality is that barely anyone talks about her video and what might have happened to her but on Instagram his family is still portrayed exactly like she said - loving family pr - as if he has all of these kids as armour from bad press
I think this is the first and great justice that is been paid to him the beginning of his sorrow I image what the GOD of truth and justice will reward him if he doesn't change
Don’t visit Dubai. Starting to cry when I see this video. Can’t belive this is happening on this earth. I’m praying for you. I hope you still alive.. If not, you have peace now 💗🦋
Praying for a woman who is held hostage by a mega-religious dictatorship sounds like a stupid idea. This story is yet another reason why we need to get rid of religion -- it's just used to suppress people and women in particular.
It’s so crazy that RIGHT NOW, if she is alive, you know she is being ruthlessly tortured. She went after the one thing her father cares about: his reputation. Thank God Princess Haya escaped and made it to London. Latifa you are so brave!
Haya's been captured thanks to the collaboration of British & Indian Intelligence, and their commitment to Dubai/UAE over human life :( Absolutely every single refugee of these kingdoms must stop trusting England. She initially went to Germany, then England baited her back in with the promise of legal custody proceedings. The safest place they can go is across the Atlantic to the US. No extradition agreement with Dubai, not a British colony (like Canada), and it would be an international crisis if the UAE kidnapped anyone on American soil. Our relationship with the UAE is already fractured and unlike England, we don't have an archaic Monarchy. Due to the avoidance of stoking tensions, they would likely have to escape & get here without any help from US officials (US-based organizations & charities can help tho), but once they're here they'll be protected. Tons of dissidents from Russia, Iran/Persia, etc live safely and speak freely here. Lots of the Russian journalist refugees in the US have stated Putin's reach is way too far in all of Europe, including the UK, and they wouldn't be alive if they didn't leave the continent.
Oh god. This really touched me, I mean her father is one of the most wealthiest man in the world, she practically have the world in her hands, a luxurious life that anyone will kill for, but she doesn’t have the most important thing, LOVE from her parents, FREEDOM, PEACE, oh my god, this makes me cry like a child, she is sooooo intelligent, so beautiful and young, and she has suffered a lot, I mean being incarcerated by your own father is something so speechless, so cruel. Her and her sister only want freedom, being able to live. Is must be sad that your own father make you being in so much pain, and then that your mother don’t be at your side. I just hope she is fine :( oh princess
Are you nuts, the world in her hands?? Are you kidding me? Women don't have any rights in Dubai, its a Muslim country, women don't get money, at least it's not put in their hands, they are 2nd class citizens. It doesn't matter if they are the daughter of the king. Now the boys in the family do live the life of luxury. But not the girls.
I just saw the other video, that she made now in feb 2021. She still a prisoner of her Dad aka Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum the ruler of Dubai! It was so sad when she tried to escape, but was captured!

And where can other people find help and information, when they find themselves in a similar situation?
I've visited the UAE, including Dubai, numerous times and often flown their airlines. After seeing videos like this and reading articles about Saudi women trying to flee their families, I can't support those repressive and misogynistic societies anymore. Sure, my money is not a drop in the bucket for them. However, I won't praise the false image they've crafted with PR and marketing. Everyone knows what kind of butcher MBS now is. You can't buy and build your way to an enlightened and progressive society. That takes time and education.

I don’t understand why you have to be a feminist. Your heart weeps for all the women of the world but why wouldn’t it weep for the men of the world who are also killed around the world
KayRU-vid KayRU-vid and who kills men? Other men. Who are the ones raping, killing, threatening, harassing, the ones fighting wars and still keeps high positions in society? Men. You might say “but women does this too”. No. It’s a structural matter. Men as a group. Being a feminist is not about hating men, it’s about wanting and fighting to exist under the same conditions and not to please men or to be controlled by men. Feminism is crucial but a shame that we even need a word for such a thing.

Her suffering is real, not a story. It's not meant to make anyone "realize what freedom is and how lucky they are." That's so selfish and self-centered. Either do something to help or encourage their struggle, or keep it to yourself. Your toxic positivity is downright cruel.
I know a woman from my country Finland who was nearly kidnapped for illegal human trafficking or whatever at chancing room of a store in Dubai. She escaped the last minute when she heard the men discussing about catching her outside (they probably thought she didn't understand the language). She was visiting the country with her husband when he worked there. The country looks so perfect on the surface. But there's such unbeliveable and ugly secrets beneath the surface that hardly anyone in the West can even imagine something like that. I really really wish the best for Latifa. And I hope her braveness will bring change for the better in the future.
@aneshia 126 Eventually things will change, if people keep on demanding it. We got out of the Middle ages as well, you know? And actually, the Enlightenment is what Islamic countries in the Middle East didn't go trough while European countries did.
@aneshia 126 obviously not all of them. And especially not those currently in power. But some do think that way Latifa for example. People like that just need to a way to come together.
@aneshia 126 That's true. But we have evidence from the history that when the pressure grows too big, eventually people will turn against their oppressors, even if in the expense of their lives. Because of they want better future (or just future) for themselves or their children. This is the case especially when oppressed people get to see the world and how much better things are on other places (look for example what happened in Germany). Of course propaganda is very professional in the Islamic countries. But when the conditions will get bad enough, people will instinctively turn to look for other options regardless.
@aneshia 126 Quite a leap from subject to another. Why you believe that way? Don't you think any extreme in general is bad (or why especially feminism and Islam, aren't they quite contradictory)?
If Latifa has told, that she struggled against Putin's regime in Russia, had supported Tikhanovskaya in Belarus, nazy regime in Ukraine, Navalny, LGBT communities, now she would be saved by US and EU.
This is tragic.. I have so much empathy for the brutality that she suffered and is likely suffering again now. I truly hope that she is alive and that she finds the freedom she seeks.. this is beyond sad that this is happening in our day and age..
It's so truly terrible when your own family doesn't support you emotionally. " Mum, I have been locked up and tortured for 3 years!"...." Your own fault".
Stellar Luminocity yes well they get married for political reasons and have children for the same reasons, there is no love there it’s just business :/

She didn’t care where she was going to end up, it was going to be an adventure. 💔 Some may think, oh she’s a princess, she must have everything anyone could wish for. Unfortunately in that culture, women are just property. Only there to serve men, have children and shut the hell up. Her father is too rich & powerful to be held accountable in this lifetime. Robb Skipper Thank you!! I don't need to add anything, we think exactly the same about this all. And hooow much I hope it's true, this horrible person deserves to suffer now.
👣💙🌐@historicrecord... Don't worry be happy... As long this time... Her father... Mr Rashid always produces her so well...so far... I think... There's no problem between UAE and UK relationship...peace out😉
I have always thought being a princess is a luxurious life filled with happiness I’m so sorry for u I feel so great full for the things I have I don’t have a lot but I appreciate it my mum and my dad love me and my sister so much they sacrificed a lot for me and my sister . I have to learn a lot from u I’m still 14 and I cannot imagine being tortured at such a young age . Salute man
@Dayan Predator Don't take my word for it, it is simply logical. These countries live by medieval law and by traveling and living there you will use money, correct? Which is taxed and ends up in the government. Therefore, travels to these countries is also support of them.
Questman, not everyone who questions the UAE is jealous. That's the same argument you get if you say something negative about Drake or another rapper, and his fans say "you're just jealous". This is not a good argument. I don't care for these expats, I hope sincerely that all people who invest time and money in UAE goes bankrupt. My reasons for this, I already stated in my last comment. Dayan, You said it yourself now that you "don't care". Then we have nothing to discuss. I said they live by medieval law, you say you don't care and you don't understand what's wrong with the UAE. Then medieval law is acceptable to you and not for me. So we have no common ground on which to discuss.
