@Morgan Calvi Booze isn't overrated if it's what you want to drink & you enjoy doing so. There's a far greater variety of drinks to be had with booze than anything else.
He trusts her, for him she's like a sister and he knows no matter what she may mess with him but she won't get him into any real danger. Though I'm not fond of Penny, I kind of like this aspect of her.
She DID break up with him---the time he was more concerned with the Flash TV Show than their anniversary. Not just that though--Amy was putting her foot down as she was sick of being taken for granted. Yet when they reunited their relationship became stronger than ever--so much so they got married in the end.
Just so everyone knows, a Long Island Iced Tea has five different types of HARD liquor in it. So Sheldon just downed like 10 shots and went full Texan in less than a minute. They should have done that more often on the show. First: Thanks for the 3k+ likes. I really thought that's some kind of tea.......I know nothing about alcohol but I know the names of popular ones like rum,champagne,beer,vodka.....never knew tea can also contain liquor
Sheldon is adorable. I like how Penny talks to Sheldon in a motherly way. I had that type of friendship so many times that it's like having more children than i do. But i wouldn't trade it because i truly love them.

He would have found a new way to annoy his friends. I can imagine some people annoyed by him even while he is sober. Although just a TV show he does have interesting theories (I know they are scripted).

Even as a woman I knew that Amy was way outta line and Will was actual very polite. If the situation was reverse we would not want Sheldon apologizing to Amy. But given that Amy likes a maniac like Sheldon goes on to show she is a bit eccentric herself.
People saying “did Sheldon not figure it out he’s so smart?” Of course he did, she even poured the alcohol in the glass in front of him and he didn’t even care lol. I think the tea line was a joke 😂
I met my husband when I was 21, and I had no clue a long island Ice tea had liquor in it. We went to a bar and grill by the ocean. I had two tall glasses, and then he asked if I knew it had alcohol in it. It didn't hit me until I stood up. I had a great time!
Those magic potions always bring the texan cowboy out of sheldon all the time.. remember the thanksgiving @wolowitz's he asked Amy to fetch few beers with a spank😂😂
That's literally how I drank long islands the first time I had them. I didnt drink them that fast but fast enough to be wasted in about 30 minutes. I drink beer more than hard liquor now.
This show had everything so good. Moments that make you laugh and cry A real audience that laughs at the show. The fact all the characters have moments that make them so good. I wish there was more but hey, I wont cry cause its over, I'll smile because it happened. Btw Penney just surprised on sheldon drinking the 2nd ice tea made me laugh XD
It obvously had something else in it too, non-alcoholic..it could not have actually been only alcohol, or he would have gagged..I've seen him try to drink it before and spit it back in the shot glass..twice in the same scene, talking about 'James Tiberius Kirk', LOL!
Long Island's arent supposed to taste like alcohol.. If you can taste it, send the bartender back to school cuz they dont know what they're doing. Serving shitty drinks like that is an embarrassment.
