Yeah ever since I first heard that song he likes about warm kitties, I knew there was going to be an episode involving cats and I was never so happy to be proven right in my life. I felt like a prophet that night lol.
I know it's meant to be Sheldon being confused and not knowing he should be paid $20, but this is actually pretty clever. Lot of people who want pets often don't have a balanced budget and ergo would barely be able to afford to feed them on the first instance. So naturally while $20 isn't enough it is good for a starter.
Here's the cat rule as someone who's owned cats without it getting out of hand: One is a friend. Two's a friend for the friend. Three's a crowd. In other words, NEVER MORE THAN TWO!
I can't believe nobody else has pointed out how weird or is that Sheldon, who had a touch phobia and a general phobia of pets but like cats and is being so close with them
Cats are suitable for people with sensory sensitivities. Unless they smell, are very vocal or constantly seeking affection. None of which, cats usually do. Plus, many people with sensory sensitivities, don't actually dislike physical contact that they are in control of. I don't mind hugs etc, if I am well aware they are coming. Otherwise they feel icky. And touching a human being is very different to touching a furry cat.
Giovanni Marozzo At different times throughout the series they seem to depict Sheldon as having money (like how he ends up stockpiling pay checks he hasn't cashed, the time he loans Penny money and he has it hidden all over the house, etc). It might just be that he's managed every buck he's made to the point that he's got a good nest egg... or maybe the grants he's gotten for his research are astoundingly huge and include personal salary that's massive )I'm not sure how grants work but when my mom wrote one for a new teaching program after getting her doctorate she not only got the raise that came with completing her PhD, but a raise that came with being the lead of the program, so who knows how much Sheldon's workin with.
Ally Ciphers Yeah they'd have to allocate a whole budget for cat actors. Watch the first episode of 30 Rock,!& I believe Rachel Dratch plays an animal handler who works with "cat actors". Takes her job BETY seriously too...
DarthWill3 well amy helped him give cats away so she may not have wanted one. Raj has his dog and dogs and cats don’t always get along. Penny doesn’t seem fond of animals and Howard and Bernadette never seem to have any of their own even after Howard loses his mother
"Well that's not fancy at all" lmao 😂 the first time my mom and I ever saw this scene was in the middle of the night and we were laughing so hard my dad finally came out and asked what was so funny then proceeded to think we were nuts. Lol this entire episode is hilarious and one of my all time favorites. "He's so.. zazzy" still kills me too!😂
Zazzy looks exactly like my cat Comet. Literally the same markings on his paws, nose, and belly. He's even the same size. Did the producers steal my cat for a day?

@Chandrakant Mane, Sheldon, is NOT a real person, we are talking about a fictitious character. No matter how intellectual anyone is, does not give them a pass, on mistreating people. Again he is a fictitious character. Stating facts is not, negative thoughts. As for the life saving, that was not selfless as Sheldon, would have died too. Have a nice day!

You know what I am disappointed Sheldon being such a Star Trek fan didn't name one of them Spot. I mean has dressed as Data for fan conventions and has difficulty socializing that would be a good reference to make for this show especially for Sheldon as a character.
I kind of liked Feinmann, the big orange Tabby. I do hope these cats got adopted after the show was over. They were remarkably well-behaved. I can only imagine how much the crew played with them between takes.
This reminds me of the scene in "Bohemian Rhapsody" when Freddie is showing Roger around his new mansion and he's naming off all his cats (Delilah, Miko, Romeo, etc) and where their rooms are located.
Freddie was a crazy cat lady at heart. I read in Jim Hutton's book that Romeo went missing as a kitten and Jim said he and the staff were terrified if they didn't find him before Freddie got home because Freddie would go beserk! Apparently he did he threw a very expensive Japanese china plate through the window but thankfully Jim did find Romeo hiding under a parked car. I must say I really like her as Sheldon's mother and I hope we get to see more of her in Big Bang Theory as Sheldons mom. Shoot I'd like to see more of the actress that plays as Leonards mom even more
