I think the has been the most beautiful song ever written, the first time I heard it it brought tears to my eyes, and still does, Very Excellent job you did on this song. Thank you for sharing.
The other thing Geoff I have noticed is how relaxed you are when playing. I only wish i could be that relaxed. Your music reflects your ability to be at peace with the world for lack of a better way for me to describe it! Keep on doing what you do...
Thank you, Geoff. I would like to send these wonderful sounds to my dear father and mother in heaven. Thank you for the music. I wish my dear parents peace and all happiness in heaven.
I have loved this song my entire life and will soon be 73. I live in SHENANDOAH, IOWA--not too far away from a part of that "wide Missouri." You played this beautifully.
What I love about your music is your feelings come out in every song .. I love this song , it reminds of when I was girl and sweet memories... I’ve always been a poet in my heart , and used to write a little.. but I will always enjoy the comfort your music brings to me. .. please stay safe. 💋
Geoff many of us in the Uk will remember this as a childhood mystical idea of how beautiful it would be to live in America. I'm glad thee and me stayed at home lol Beautiful x
There is something about the way you play this great song that reaches deep into the soul. I listened to covers by other talented musicians and enjoyed them. I come back to your version from time to time. Thank you.
I live very close to Shenandoah National Park and the Shenandoah River in Virginia. It always touches me to listen to this one. I think I love this area and the Shenandoah. Thank you Geoff for this beautiful piece of wonderful music!!!
Geoff, thank you for your wonderful, special music. I listen to you playing every morning and every evening as I write my journal. It brings me great joy and peace. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You and your music help me meditate and find a connection to nature around us.

It is always great to give a traditional folk song a new life and you did a great job here Geoff to do this in your very own style...! Rock on my friend! Bert
That's how i like my Sundays to start, getting up, having my koffee, and another awesome instrumental played by geoff.... Awesome sound, great great backing video, perfect entertainment. Thanks so much bro... Regards from Berlin Michael

Nice to listen to this version of the tune. (doing sound for a small folk band, so usually using flute, violin, acc guitar, accordion, mandoline and piano for this one :) )
Hi Geoff Great choice, fantastic melody and nice video. Impressive sound and excellently played as usual in all your uploads. Thanks for sharing. All the best /Antonio
Congratulations Geoff!! Your award from U Tube is well earned, your presentations are all beautifully polished, and bring a few moments of peace into these very dark times. Thank You, Mark from U.S. 6/3/20
This song and Home on the Range my two most favorite songs as a boy growing up in Texas. I suppose when you get right to it they still are and will always be.
Geoff you've been away and today this. Brings to mind how as a child we had just got our first black and white TV and Wagon Train was my favourite because it had this tune running through it. I'll never forget the lumps in my throat and tears in my eyes when the series ended and the train crew disbanded. Heart wrenching it was. But how can you be so cruel as to not let me download your truly exquisite rendition. Your best.
Learning this song right now in class. I just started recently and have a great Stratocaster like yours. Love this song, it is worth the work!! Please keep posting your work, you play very, very well.
When you realise that your vision changes to the world.... that's when you are listening to this amazing music.thank God we have the opportunity to listen to a man so talented.from Mickey from oswaldtwistle England
