It's wonderful seeing artists like Luke help bring older songs and singers back to the front with just enough modernization but still keeping that traditional sound. Even after 30 years since the original recording, Marty sounds just as good as he did in 1989.

Shenandoah is legendary they don’t need Luke to be relevant! Marty is one of the best voices to ever sing a country song! It’s sad that they did this remake just to be relevant in country music again!

IMO the whole song should been Luke. The original can’t be beat but I’d keep the original as the legend it is and let Luke do his thing on this. One of my all time favorite songs.
