Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd provides an "important" update on the investigation into three friends murdered in Frostproof during a fishing trip on Friday.
The fact that someone with 230 felonies and seven convictions is able to breath the same air as I do is terrifying, and it speaks a lot on the problems with our judicial system.
It speaks about all the stupid LAWYERS, who think the the death penalty is "unConstitutiuonal." I wonder what they think about EVERY "Constitutional right" they stole from our loved ones? They never say.
I'm listening to Barney Fife trying to make this trailer trash Klan look as harmless as possible. No drugs in the trucks. Duh,did you check their blood for drugs,Mr Fife after they went on this massacre. "Didn't think bout that Andy.
whom ever let him out on bail with a violent history like that should be in jail themselves. this is a huge injustice. my condolences to the family may they rest in peace
@Mario Canez yes it happens all the time unfortunately and George Floyd was one of them maybe not that many but he should have been in prison too. your skin color has nothing to do with it
The gov released em for covid 19. A lot of criminals were released due to pandemic on parole. Liberals and their dumb ideas getting other people killed.
Ladies and gentleman, people of ALL adult ages, THIS is why it's critical to go out there and vote on who the judge is in your town's or cities. Research their track record and what stances they take on issues. Who let's this tyrant out on the streets? Was the judge high on meth that day for goodness sake?!
Listen, this happened while Judd was sheriff. He's not running for sheriff. He is the sheriff. And these tyrants walked the streets on his watch. Your comment is confusing.
Judges dont have a damn thing to do with this , They are useless !! The filfthy lawyers that manipulate the law to their atvantage and the garbage criminals they are defending is who benefits from this cowardly justice system !! Don't you remember the disgusting casey anthony /jose biaz case ! they made a mockery of the U.S. justice system . NO COMMON SENSE THERE !!!!!!! If things worked the way Grady Judd says it would be great ! in actuality the bastards will be out by morning, because of the manipulation of the law by a stinkin lawyer . ( Hey !! It's their turn to be HATED!! ) why not everyone else who has no respect going for them has had to endure.. ( IT'S SICKENING ) !!!
@@southbeachmiamiart895 The judge is the one at fault for letting the scuzzbucket walk n roam the streets. The Sheriff arrests the perp then the perp goes before a judge and the judge let the violent offenders out. 🤯How exactly is this the sheriff's fault?🤔 🙄 🤦♀️
This Sherriff is amazing. He have a very thorough briefing, and properly informed the public of the process and results of their investigation. But his deep and personal love for his community is what really stands out. His compassion and grief for the victims' families and his activism in calling out the justice system for why this man was ever out of jail is amazing. This is a ridiculously injust story and I also grieve for the families.
An Absolute Fantastic Sheriff! He speaks from his heart and soul, and shows his care, concerns and thoughtfulness for true justice. This Sheriff should train all law enforcement! An awesome respectful standing ovation for him and his colleagues from Texas! Our prayers and sympathy to all the victims families and friends.
Should have been in jail. He was a ticking time bomb. Looks like he flew under the radar. I just wonder where he gets the money to bail out n get lawyers. Waste of space. I'm disgusted by the woman who was with them. In her FB account she has children. Not sure why she was spending time with a hardened criminal. I hate that Damion didn't realize that he was in danger. Of course I grew up around extended family members who were criminals so you learn to pick up on the vibe of these people. I hope the family members find out where the criminal system failed to keep Tony Wiggins in jail and sue them for the death of their sons. Tony Wiggins should have been in prison or dead. This is what happens when someone who could've stood up to an intimidating bully "Tony" lets him get away with his bullshit for so long that he is released to commit other crimes. 200 arrests? Wtf Florida.
Wow! This man is a great speaker. What a great officer he is. We need more people like him in this country. Very tragic story; prayers to the victims families.
They should fire the parole officer and the people in charge or releasing him out into the public with 230 charges, smh. The justice system failed the victims
Oh yeah I forgot to also mention the "C.I. program" that the criminal justice system in Florida plays. Just like in many other states. I'm willing to bet a career criminal like TJ has been a C.I. in exchange for at least 1 of his 230 felonies. Hmmm
@Rocky Barrs - once they have blood and DNA samples from the accused-- in this case, from all three-- that info will be entered into the state/regional and national crime data bases, if that has not been done already. It's possible that other jurisdictions reexamining evidence from past unsolved cases will find a match at some future time.
Not in the legal sense. He might go out strapped every night. The premeditation is in following the victim from the store to rob/murder him and his friends.
In a non-bizarro world, there would be seas of protesters outside the house of every judge who has adjudicated one of this guy's cases since felony arrest #20.
States attorney worked with Judd’s department and knew exactly what was happening and what Judd was doing and how Judd holds news conferences. I doubt the states attorney was upset with any of this.
@@jrrains Perhaps. Might just be a show boater out to make a name for himself. It's incredibly arrogant to call for a sentence before there's even a trial. Florida's a special place.
@@juliusseizure4983 ... cool story bro. But I'm actually talking about it cuz Highlands & Polk county actually has a large meth problem, when I lived there. And the losers I knew in Highlands county still live there and still do meth & pop pills. But sure he was "crazy" riiiighhtt.
@@NONPOINT420 What are you talking about? He's obviously unfit for society. And there are large meth problems everywhere in America under the poverty level.
@@juliusseizure4983 what there's meth use all over wow who knew!? Wtf no duh genius, just like there's air everywhere but since this story is in FLORIDA and I lived in that gross state & that area of gross FL, I was speaking of hmmm oh yeah Florida and not planet earth. Logic. And as I said that area and many parts of central Florida has a large meth problem (unlike South Florida that has a different drug issue) and Sheriff do-right is pretending as though TJ is some kind of fluke and he is NOT!
Sheriff Grady is the type of individual who should be Time’s Person of the Year. Polk County must be very proud to have such a gentleman for their sheriff.
Wendy, just look at the actual conviction's....why so few ? Course what where the conviction for? Some times if in a smaller town, cop's will blame "known" criminal's to solve the crime. Not saying it's that in this case.Still waiting for the evidence of this case.
TJ was the really evil one.. 👿. the others got caught up in the awful mess ( the girlfriend and brother were probably scared of what TJ would do to them next) Very unnecessary deaths of three innocent young men. 😔. Very sad for their families. Should never. have happened.
It's absolutley the OPPOSITE of what a press conference by a law officer should look like. Jesus fucking Christ. Are you SERIOUS? This guy is ruining their case for them. It's called "poisoning the well" and it loses cases when judges hear this kind of shit. You can't call people "evil" and "thugs" and act like you've proven the case before it's even gone to trial. THere is a REASON law officers usually say "allegedly" and "we believe" when reporting these cases. These people are innocent until proven guilty, and if their lawyer can make the case that the jury was poisoned before they got their day in court. Also, you don't actually KNOW they did it. You know that HE is convinced they did it. Probably did, but YOU DON'T KNOW THAT. That's what TRIALS are for.
I know I hate that he’s possibly going to screw up the case although it’s probably pretty open and shut with these dummies, but he seems like a very decent officer who wants a safe community for his citizens, he’s very concise, and explains everything in plain English, I can’t even see how someone from the press would have a question when he’s done talking.
This guy is not using legal process at all he's turning Society against these people without them even being found guilty of a crime if enough people believe they are guilty they are guilty so this guy's making sure of it before they go to court this is the opposite of how it's supposed to work and if they appeal their death sentence to Federal Court federal court will let them go because of all the laws that this cop is breaking normally a police officer will tell you they are not allowed to talk about the case but this guy explained it all in great detail and it's still open and being investigated
I call BULLSH%T.. Wow this sheriff is absolutely selling a story.. He's giving out all the evidence to the media to hang these people before ever stepping in to a court room. He knows word for word what happens but all 3 of the accused lawyered up. I don't wanna get in to how suspicious the single 9mm shell found at the compound. I pray that whoever did this is found and the family get justice but this seems fishy to me. May all 3 victims rest peacefully.
It's very sad that just mentioning to a cashier you're going fishing with some friends can end with you being murdered because some psycho loser over hears you.
sheriff Grady goes viral so many times every year. I heard he's been sheriff for ever. I also heard you don't wanna go to jail in his county. but good job solving the murders.
I feel you but what proof is he giving that they were at the crime scene he’s just naming people with criminal records . This doesn’t prove these are the killers and people like you who just believe the first thing they hear are just as dangerous. Where is the proof
Imagine that one trip to dollar general cost 3 people their lives and affected so many people. Imagine if he just didn't stop there or just have any alter in his timeline and he never runs into TJ.
Pretty crazy for sure. You truly never know what's going to happen when you walk out the door of your home. It could easily be the last time you ever do.
230 felonies, several convictions, 26 years old and still walking the street and now 3 men slaughtered because the scales of justice was out of balance
BILLIONS are spent each year locking up non-violent drug users in cages. Meanwhile, this monster TJ racks up hundreds of felonies and walks around freely to kill. Fuck the system. It's broken and it should be completely reworked.
@Joe Chill The Sheriff is a Constitutional Office of Trust with Delegated Authorities.. The Police are Municipal Employees who have been deemed INCOMPETENT @ Law(See; Miranda Ruling for Reference).. They have POLITICAL JURISDICTION(See; Any State Law) which is applied under COLOR of LAW & AUTHORITY which in itself is criminal(See; 18 USC 241 & 2331)...
Meanwhile there’s people in jail for their first felony drug possession for many years. It makes no sense. If you’re convicted of anything violent you should be in jail.
Couldn’t agree with you more. If one of the judges would have just stood up to him and said you know what you’ve got way too much of a dangerous criminal history you don’t deserve to be out free we’re going to set your bail at such an unreasonable amount that you will not be able to afford to get out. This guy would not have been free to commit these murders And those three people would still be alive right now
All conservative judges in Polk County, so u racist maga people can't say liberal judges. People say institutional bias and white privilege don't exist but this is proof!!!psychological white bias in these judges head.
26:40 Sheriff Grady “ nothing is worse than having to bury your child, unless you have to bury your child and you don’t have any money. “ 😭😭😭 ❤️❤️❤️ to the families.
With his history of violence, wonder if his family “encouraged” people to bond him out. What would be worse, being shaken down for the money, or having to face this guy when he gets out? He is a textbook psychopath and needs to be locked up in a unit with others just like him. Not really an “electric bench” kind of person, but those three all need to go meet Sparky before they reproduce more like themselves
We are learning with the Covid event that a county Sheriff is a very important person to have on your side. Had no idea the Sheriff and Coroner were able to make so many important final rulings.
@@roycastanon5754 Sounds like it was only a matter of time. The guy seemed to have already started losing his mind from the drug abuse (maybe he had been up for days on meth when he killed them). I'm referring to the whole "where's my truck" thing he killed them over which seems to be something that either never happened or didn't involve the people he killed at all. Not that anything would justify what he did just to be clear.
I'm a felon who has been to prison but I learned my lesson. I made a mistake 14 years ago. I'm also an avid angler and I'd like to send money to the family to help with their babies funeral. I'll say a prayer for my fellow fishermen today on the water💔 just sad man
@Pony Girl True But Not 230 to be able to do three more. The Justice system in the US is Broke. Now all can stop wondering why there are people in the streets yelling "No Justice-No Peace"

Hearing him tell this story is fascinating. Kept thinking the whole time how I wish it wasn't true. I don't know how people can be so unhinged and cruel.
Bald Head Jamaican LMFAO! “White privilege”, huh? You did hear the part where the sheriff said he wants TJ (the felon) to get the death penalty, right? If TJ really was “privileged” as you say - shouldn’t the sheriff want to soften the penalty or let him out again? I’m also really curious to know what you think about “Fast” Eddie Lee Johnson Jr., the basketball player? Arrested *hundreds of times* for committing just about every crime and feIony you can imagine, only to be reIeased over and over. How does this fit into your baseless “white priv” theory that you can’t and won’t prove?: “Eddie Johnson's rap sheet numbered about 100 arrests and five stints in and out of the Florida prison system when in 2006, he was arrested for burgIary and sexuaI battery and moIestation of an 8-year-old girI, while awaiting trial on charges of ra ping another woman... In 2008, Johnson was convicted of sexuaI battery of a minor under 12, lewd and Iascivious moIestation of a chiId under 12, and trespassing. The sex crimes carried a mandatory life sentence without parole. Johnson is currently incarcerated at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution.” Source: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Johnson_(basketball,_born_1955)#Off-court_issues_and_imprisonment
@@WarriorServantofYah He didnt have a 230 felons and plus he didnt kill anybody not saying any crime is worse than any other. We are in the present now talk about something current sir.
He always starts out “we have the best homicide team I have ever seen” or what ever department he is talking about “they are the very best out there!”.
@@AJ-sx4zz lol, this guy is an idiot. He certainly loves to listen to himself talk. Also, before making jack ass statements like 230 felony charges, just state the guy has 15 felony convictions.
This is the story you need to tell people when they ask why you carry a gun. You might never need it but you never know when a psychopath is going to try to kill you.
Nate 85 it was the guns that did this? Why don’t I see the mugshots of the guns? Oh that’s right, they arrested the HUMANS for the committing the murders. They would have probably killed them with something else. A gun could have at least given the victims a fighting chance of survival.
Dakoda Fisher okay genius, what are you gonna do when someone comes at you with a knife? Gonna fight him with a knife? Fists? Or would you rather have the higher ground and have a gun? There are way more reasons to own a gun than to protect yourself from someone else with a gun. Also, no person should have to justify their reasoning on owning a firearm to protect themselves or their family.
He has been doin this for years now! I think all of Polk County, Florida feels the same way (except for the criminals of course lol) since he keeps getting elected. There are lots of funny news conferences that he has put on now...of course the crimes are not funny but he can be humorous
@@uol1051 what are u talkin' bout??? I am sure 12 ppl would gladly b jurors just to see him get life ×3...aand that's if this case even goes to trial. There is a chance of him making a deal with the prosecutors to avoid a lengthy trial and possible execution. The prosecution could ask him to plead guilty and spend life behind bars or risk going to trial and getting execution, there are a few different variables that can happen from now till court. He most likely won't go to court for a yr or two yet since he was out on bail for other crimes while he murdered those boys.

Deelicious Grapes - There’s nothing unintelligent about pointing out that our president is a corrupt piece of shit, because there happens to be a lot of evidence proving that he’s a corrupt piece of shit, even though a lot of people apparently choose to ignore it. It might be irrelevant to this video, but it isn’t an unintelligent comment.
Maybe but who cares if she talks now. She could've done talked for days after the murders but she said nothing. Shes an accessory to a triple murder! And that's how I'm going to remember her.
All we need is 3 rounds ! That would deal with all 3 of them ! It should be that way !! How does my dude have over 200 felonies but he's free ??? Hell no !! If I was the chief ?? All 3 would have died while we tried to talk to them. Lol. Sick ass people.
I’ve never been in law enforcement but I did serve 8 years as a infantryman in the Marine Corps and man I’m super impressed with this Sheriff, he is a a professional in every sense of the word and this country could use more leadership just like this.
Thank you for your service . It’s unusual that you didn’t go to law enforcement profession, for some reason Marines love to be in law enforcement. Good for them and God bless all first responders.
It says volumes about Mary that she would "choose" to be the girlfriend of a man who has 230 felony charges. No healthy woman would have anything to do with a thug.

i agree with the response. he is trying to make a serious point for people to keep in mind when they are on the jury during this trial. Sounds like hes writing a book almost though...
@@louis_costa No he seems to be a real shitbag, but this does not fit good with the ideal that everybody has the right to a fair trial. Therefor i think it's more fitting that this kind of press-conference should be held after they are convicted
I've never heard such a detailed description of a murder crime scene without the suspects cooperation. prior to a trial, so quickly after the crime occurred. These detectives are amazing.
The real crime is the judges that convicted him 230 times I would look into who is paying them off.. I'm betting alot of those court dates had 1 judge all over it
