I'm heartbroken for the family of Deputy Clinkunbroomer. The video is devastating to watch - he had no chance at all. I'm also really effen pissed at the heartless comments in this post. This was someone's son, grandson, someone's fiance. The disrespect is absolutely disgusting. Those mouthing off, you should all be ashamed. There's a time and place and this isn't it. As a person who had two LEO’s murdered as they ate lunch in our community in FL my heart goes out to you all. It took our community a long time to heal but no one ever forgets. 💙

The poor officer was stopped at a red light and had zero chances. You need bulletproof police cars. California has become a crime-ridden garbage dump. No Officer/Sheriff seems to be safe there. I hope to God this does not happen to another officer before they receive the protection they deserve. May he rest in peace.

To hear the quotes of Salazars mother that "we shouldn't judge him as a regular person because he had schizophrenia" was extraordinarily offensive to say the least. I'll bet we find out that she knew he did it and was protecting him. Another neighbor described Salazar as a "good person". These people are simply living in a dreamworld. When a law enforcement officer/deputy is killed, law enforcement uses all resources to arrest the suspect within a few days. If a normal citizen is killed, in many cases the suspect is never arrested. I support law enforcement, but double standards are in play.

Quite literally all the inmates respect you as soon as you step foot inside those walls. You are untouchable and treated like a king. This guy will be a hero to those inside and outside. He cleaned up the streets singlehandedly. He took on an armed gang member and defeated him in glorious battle. Brace and selfless. The hero we needed.
