Am I the only one who would freakin' love to be Mark's daughter? I mean he's just... There's not even a word for it, but he's like the most cinnamon roll-y person ever
Emily Wright same I'd love to be a mad scientist but still. cinnamon rolls don't do this (also check out the video where Mark fills in blank for RU-vid comments about him/Mycroft ^_^ )
I still haven't recovered from watching "His Last Vow" - Louis Moffat was EXCELLENT as little Sherlock.... my goodness. I just want to give all these people a high-five and say you rock! Because they do! ;)
Oh dear, nepotism. I wonder if the ugly little bastard has to audition for the role? No? What a surprise. His dad and that sanctimonious jerk Gaytoss both need one way tickets to the bottom of a disused well.
@@blastfromthepast8344 he actually did audition. They said on a panel (im blanking on which one) that Moffat even warned his son that he likely wouldnt get the role but he ended up being the best pick in both Moffat and Gatiss opinion as well as the casting director. I understand you concern tho, as a fair bit of the cast are related and it can seem unfair to others in the field.
they look like two old friends who grew up together. they met after twenty years, are both dads now and remembering the old times when they pranked the neighbours when they were kids
A little Moffat! A Moffatlet! Also, Mark and Steven are so broshippable! Their ideal date would be planning how best to destroy the lives of Sherlock fans one long awaited episode at a time.....oh wait.
The PLOSH is the most tragic thing I've ever seen regarding Sherlock, good to know it's their favorite, and going by Steven's own words, there's no point in creating something unless you want to fix it. Seems to ME they're going to fix everything done wrong in the past between these two and make it actually happen. Can't wait.
Mark's favorite book is "Great Expectations" a novel whose ending was famously re-written b y Charles Dickens. Just as Steven Moffat re-wrote the ending to the Private Life of Sherlock Holmes via "A Scandal in Belgravia". To quote Sherlock, "There must be something comforting about the number 3. People *always* _give up_ after 3..."
I like how at the end of the videos, Mark is always sitting in that armchair like he evil villain he is :'D he probably plots how to emotionally destroy the fandom in that chair doesnt he?
“Johnlock is just a strong friendship", say a few blind idiots who can't see that Sherlock and John are head over heels in love with each other, yes in the romantic sense of the word. (Sarcasm) I guess I see your point. I mean, if you removed: - The scene at Bart’s where they met. - Mrs. Hudson’s “if you’ll be needing two.” - “… for you, and your date.” - The scene at Angelo’s with “No, not really my area.” - The scene where Sherlock fixed John’s limp. - “Might we expect a happy announcement by the end of the week?” - The scene where John shot a man for Sherlock. - The “Dinner? Starving.” scene. - Basically all of ASiP. - The scene where Sherlock says “That’s what I was suggesting.” - The scene where Sherlock invites himself to John’s date. - “You and John Watson. Just platonic? I’ll take that as a no.” - The pool scene. - When John tries to sacrifice himself for Sherlock. - THE POOL SCENE. - When they agree to die together. - THE. POOL. SCENE. - The way Sherlock reacted when John went all “captain-mode”. - The way Sherlock got defensive when he thought John doubted him. - “…as a conductor of light, you are unbeatable!” - Sherlock staring at John like THAT when he was apologising. - John getting jealous over Irene. - Sherlock obviously expressing disinterest in women. - John counting fifty-seven text messages. - Sherlock getting jealous of John’s girlfriends. - Sherlock not bothering to remember John’s girlfriend’s names. - “You’re a great boyfriend. And Sherlock Holmes is a very lucky man.” - John mixing up his girlfriends. - Sherlock “dying” for John. - Sherlock taking two years of torture for John. - Sherlock looking at John like THAT when he saw him after he returned. - John shaving his moustache for Sherlock. - Sherlock’s best man speech. - Sherlock putting John’s face onto the Vitruvian Man. - Sherlock leaving John’s wedding early. - Sherlock taking drugs again BECAUSE JOHN GOT MARRIED - John getting jealous over Janine. - John’s face when Sherlock and Janine kissed. - John’s face when Sherlock “proposed” to Janine - John’s reaction when Sherlock got shot. - “John Watson is definitely in danger.” - Sherlock forgiving Mary for KILLING HIM because she’s John’s wife. - Sherlock convincing John to stay with Mary even after she killed him. - Sherlock shooting a man for John. - Mary taking a bullet for Sherlock and sacrificing her life so he could live because she knew Sherlock was John's TRUE LOVE and she at least cared enough about the two of them to do that much. Also John and Sherlock live together with a growing and developing child (Rosie). Two fathers basically. There is soooo much more I could add… (Sarcasm) But yeah. I guess you have a point. That's just a platonic friendship there, right?
Well, this is fun. I knew about Cumberbatch and Freeman having their relatives/significant others on Sherlock the series, but I didn't know Moffat's son played Young Sherlock in the CAM episode or that Gatiss was gay until I saw a list that revealed the "cast and crew's relatives in the cast" bit. That's right, Gatiss' husband was a juror during the "Reichenbach Fall" episode.Gatiss likes Great Expectations?! God, I hated reading that book when I was 13. As for The Princess Bride, I read The Gondolier by S. Morgenstern, thinking I'd start off with another work by the same author... I didn't like it. Pffft, Mark's bad habit is shopping! I immediately thought, "For what? New umbrellas or Sherlock props?" Cool that they were able to name each other's proudest writing achievement, and favorite Doctor Who actor.
