Just fixed my pole. Replaced spring in the last step but could NOT get my spring in the way the video said. I put spring in first then inserted the rod. Much easier.

Does this work on the regular pole.not the GT.

Can confirm yes it does. Home Depot does not sell the GT Convertible I had bought from Sherwin Williams 10 years ago. Now Sherwin Williams only sell Purdy (shit) poles, so I was forced to buy a regular threaded Sherlock pole to finish out the job with. Today I just put the straight GT tip off the old pole onto the new pole. Fits perfectly. The spring for the rear lever is also interchangeable.
