Sherlock & Molly | I was wrong 

I can't understand how some people are totally blind to the fact that Molly is Sherlock's "love interest". Their relationship is the most developed one and it has been quite obvious since season three. Does people notice that Molly is the one who humanizates him the most? the one who made Sherlock apologize without saying a single word? the one who knows him deeply? the only one he trust enough to share his fake suicide idea with? Do they realize that Sherlock knows what Molly means to him and how much she knows him and that is why he changed his attitud towards her in season three? Do they realize that even John came to notice that Molly is the one who can see through his bullshit? Does people realize that Sherlock was clearly upset when Molly was engaged to Tom? Do they realize the weird double sensed words between them, like "what de you need - You", "The one person he thought didnt matter at all to me was the one person who mattered the most" and "Sorry your engagement is over, though fairly grateful for the lack of a ring" were writting to show us "something"? And finally, do they realize that the whole point of their scene in "The final problem" was Sherlock saying "i love you" for real as it was the episode in which he would complete his process of humanization? I guess they don't. They just see but not observe. Some say he just realized he loves her as a friend. ¡PFFF! Sherlock has considered her a friend since a loooooot of time and clearly cares about her. He just told her they are friends: "Of course you're not an experiment, you re my friend...we're friends, but...please... say those words". And they think he is hust realizing it now??? ¡pf! i wonder is they even watch the show. They can easily say Molly forced Sherlock to say "i love you" so Sherlock's words are fake, but they fail to notice that Molly is also been forced, that she actually tried a lot to avoid saying it...because it was true. Just a few understand that Sherlock and Molly are living exactly the same in that one scene. Yes, it was forced, but it doesn't mean it's false. Do they really expect them having dinner with candles and roses? This is "Sherlock" not a regular love movie or a sitcom. This was the confession, very unusual, and quite "Sherlock"-like. And two more things: Why do you think Molly appears to be so happy at the end of the episode and walking right towards a certain someone? Weird right??!! if she was soooooooooooo humilliated before, why would she be so happy??!! Do you really think Moffat did that scene because he is a misogynist and he has fun humilliating nobody else but Molly? That he , Gatis and everyone else are going to waste money, character development and plot issues for a character who is there just to be humilliated or "mirroring" a certain other character? Come on, get your head out of you ass. i needed to say all of this, cause i've been reading pathetic excuses and interpretations of those who try desperately to deny Sherlock and Molly's love. and. it. is. enough :) Have a nice day!

Another thing I loved about this scene is when she doesn't answer at first and Sherlock says "It's ME calling", like he cannot accept to be ignored or, even worse, rejected by her...

Sherlolly is one of the most tragic ships of all time.

He didn't need to say "I love you" twice, he only had to say it the once, the change in his voice and his face can only really be because he finally realised he was in love with her, I mean who wouldn't be she's amazing.

I've always been a huge Johnlock shipper, but that scene in the finale made me cry so much because the second time Sherlock says, "I love you," it was filled with so much genuine emotion and you could tell he meant it, and I've always enjoyed scenes with him and Molly, so this video is gorgeous and you captured them perfectly

when he says I love you for the second time... that is my favorite part in the whole series. You can just see he look on his face when he realizes its true.

Thank goodness for that open-ended finale because if they did pair him up with Irene Adler and leave our precious Molly in the gutter I would definitely lose it. Hers and Sherlock's character development throughout the seasons were amazing. Focusing on Molly, unlike most people believe, she isn't weak at all. Quoting a blog I once read, she became "a strong female character without being a STRONGFEMALECHARACTER". She clearly has the brains and beauty (both inner and outer). And Sherlock knows this. He never once called her an idiot because he knows she's intelligent. I would also say that empathy is one of her strengths as well, she's the only one who saw through Sherlock's facade. She's also the person whom Sherlock trusts with his life. Thus, in my eyes, she truly is "The Woman" who counted.

I have always thought that the "I love you" in the coffin were Sherlock unsaid words not Molly's... afterall the persons we leave behind when we die are the ones who write in the coffin

Many people may not realize it but Sherlock and Molly relationship is similar to Stefan Salvatore and Caroline Forbes in the vampire diaries tv series. In the beginning when Caroline first saw Stefan, she had a crush on him but he later shot her down and told her that "they were never going to happen", he had eyes on someone else and that was it. She become his friend and the person he trusted to help him when he needed it. He also knew that no matter what she would always be in his corner and keeping him in line. Just go have a look at the build up of Stefan and Caroline's relationship and you will see similarities to Sherlock and Molly. Like Sherlock, Stefan slowly came to care for Caroline and love her. He didn't fall in love with her at first sight but slowly and gradually. Stefan was also blind to his feelings for Caroline, he didn't see it and tried to fight it as well. And when he came to the realization that he had feelings for Caroline she wanted nothing to do with him. Stefan didn't know how to act around Caroline, he was awkward around her and looked clueless. It's the same when it comes to Sherlock, when it comes to his feelings for Molly he seems awkward around her and has this vulnerable look on his face. The best thing about this is that Sherlock and Molly's relationship is a build up from friendship they share. The one woman who didn't count came to be the most important one to him.

Sherlock loves Molly in his own way. Sherlock is just sadly convinced that he's married to his work and romantic entanglements will get in the way. He has slowly allowed for close friendships to enter into his life, though, which is a step in the right direction. I love Sherlock's character development in this series. I do ship Sherlock and Molly. They would make a cute couple in the series. 🙂 Not sure if it will ever happen if we ever get more seasons or movies...but it's still fun to ship them. ❤
