I grew up in the 90s and early 00s. I went through the era of everyone having easy access to oxy 80s and 40s. I watched more than 50 friends die and struggled with addiction myself. This kid makes it seem like it has ups and downs. There’s only downs. Yes you feel good and it can push problems out of your mind or kill pain for a short time. But withdrawals and breaking the cycle of use, withdrawing, being clean and relapsing just aren’t worth it. And that’s not even talking about dying. Like I said more than FIFTY, 5-0(!), of my friend’s are gone and I was born in 84. You do the math. He says it’s not worth it but when you say that YOU, YOURSELF, personally say you love it you’re glamorizing it. And liquid heroin is a perfect description. Codeine is a form of opiate. It’s the reason Cold Water Extraction was created, for when Tylenol is mixed with codeine to form pills. “That’s what they say”. No idiot, that’s what science says. It’s basic chemistry and the 2 are in the same drug family and have the same end result. Ones just stronger than the other and easier to become addicted to. Once you are, it’s not just a “mind thing” like he claims or the relapse rate for opiate addicts would be better than the 90% or so it currently is. You need a support system around you, usually counseling and medical supervision and, yes, will power. This is just another young kid saying one thing while doing the next while millions of kids like mine watch them. What do you think they’ll pay attention to, the words or actions. I’ve been through it and I’ve taught my son the truth about things. But what about those without parents that have experience? This kid needs to go detox and get TRULY clean if he wants to ever make a long term career in music.

I’m against drug use and mixing drugs but I respect the fact that he’s honest and very self aware. He’ sounds a lot more intelligent than most rappers and I understand what he’s saying

This is kinda sad. I used to be addicted to the m30 box blues but I only would get high off the fentanyl pressed ones eventually. I was addicted for about a year and heavy use. I would snort from 8am -10pm and even wake up in the middle of the night to re-dose. I would have lines already cut up and placed underneath my bed for easy access for my “breakfast lines” I would probably snort 10-30 lines a day. Non stop. I’m sober now almost 2 years. It was very hard and couldn’t have done it without the help my my best friend. I’ll make a video on this topic one day on my main channel. But I hope he gets better and others out there. Reach out to me if you need help and advice.

Once he goes thru enough hard times with it and really gets sick and then wants to stop but can’t then he will realize how hard it is to stop on his own, realize how hard it is and go back to it, then he will eventually prolly have to go to rehab. I’m just saying this for the people watching, u can just stop on ur own but u don’t have to and people are willing to help and teach u about addiction and what it’s doing to u because until then u don’t know wtf is wrong with u and what ur doing to urself. He prolly has other health issues he doesn’t realize is from the lean or his addiction won’t let him think about it. (Hence how it wont let him think about how much money he spent on it). Once ur addicted u need something and ur dependent on it, u don’t think about what it’s doing to ur mind and body even if u know it is. U basically are at the drugs mercy, because u love it. Kinda like when a girl cheats on u but u love her so u stay with her, even if she’s bad for u. This guy is pretty much admitting this and it almost seems like a cry for help, but not quite yet. Hopefully he realizes it’s not worth it and it’s more of a hassle then it’s worth. And as for the liquid heroin comment it basically is, chemically speaking but. It’s at a lower dosage and it’s not as deadly and scummy, u probably won’t find laced lean but u likely will find laced heroin, and u can overdose on heroin much quicker and sudden then lean. But yeah the how the addiction works on ur brain for lean and heroin is the same, lean is just a less risky and less addictive form. It’s not apples to oranges to compare them it’s more like a poison apple to a less poisonous apple.
