They actually do test you in Spanish if you’ve been a resident for a certain amount of years and are at least 55 or 60. I’m pretty sure it’s 55. Both of my parents were able to do it in Spanish.
My mom wanted to become a citizen and a lawyer told her that if she had medical they would take that away due to her applying for the citizenship. She decided not to apply because she didn’t want to lose her medical. Thank you for sharing
Congratulations to your parents. Was this in SF or SAC? I just did mine in Fresno but it wasn't in the car or outside. It was a small group of thirty in the room.
Congrats to your mommy!! Omg! I sooo thought the light up sign behind the swing said pedorro!! I was like omg why would someone put that!? I had to look at it for a bit to realize what it actually said.
Muchas felicidades!! My ceremony was different too. It was in the interview room right after my interview and then I had to wait in the lobby for my certificate. My grandma did hers too and for her because of medical issues there was no interview she got eveything in the mail hers was 2 yrs ago.
