This song from the film mere mehboob is composed by the legend Naushadjee and sung by another legend Rafi saheb... what a composition and how beautifully rafi saaheb has sung... and pl. note the second interlude music ... how the western chords are effectively used.. it was a real pleasure preparing this track...and playing this on accordion...hope you all enjoy !!!.

Excellent Sir ! You have absolute control over accordion. Feel like listening again and again. The presentation is also beautiful; Yes the trio Rafi-Shakeel-Naushad has put all their efforts into making of this song. It is a timeless classic.

Sheshadri ji, It gives me an immense pleasure not only listening to your wonderful performance but also that you enjoyed yourself while preparing the track including the combination of western chords in the interludes, not so widely used by Naushad Sahab but was used more profusely by the SJ duo, if I'm not wrong. Thanks for posting and for giving us an immeasurable entertainment.

First of all Thank you so much for your sincere kind words for all my videos !!! As for Naushad saheb, who usually compose songs based on indian classical ragas, applying western chords for the interludes of this song is really wonderful.. and it shows that he was not averse to melodies from the western music,,.!!! As a matter of fact although he was very passionate about indian ragas , he had full knowlede of wetern classical music also.. and he emplyed western touch in many of his songs.. with the help of arrangers.. for ex.. "mera pyar bhi tu hai" for the film Saathi... sung by mukeshjee and sumanjee ..!!! a mind blowing progression of western chords in the second interlude !!!.. and for many other songs in the background contras !!! .. I have played ...mera pyar bhi tu hai... with the track also prepared by me and uploaded the same long ago.. You may pl. hear that and also the original.. Thank you so much.. Regards.

Great composition of Naushad saab. Sir, you justified the song on accordion. Try to upload the songs:- poocho na hame ham unke liye, Phaili hui hai sapnoki bahe, Taron ki zaba par hai muhabbat ki ka ni, Bhool jaye sare gam pyar mai kho jaye, Kahan ja rahe the kahan aagaye hum. Thanks.
