I think Shia Is so ahead of his time that some people can't understand it. He seems like amazing human being that just happens to be famous so people brush him off as attention hungry. He's real.
He's a great actor and overlooked so many times. I first noticed his outstanding performance in Constantine with Keanu Reeves, also some of his work recently with Fury, American Honey, Man Down, etc
I had no intention of seeing Man Down in the theater because of the reviews it's receiving but I love Shia too much to pass it up. Plus he's been promoting the movie like crazy on a lot of different platforms so it's nice to see he really believes in this project.
Shia just moved to top 5 my favorite actors! Can't believe I didn't comment on this video first time. So humble and down to earth, just real human being in Hollywood? Semper Fidelis!
He seems like a real dude to me. I don't think hes crazy, silly or vapid at all. He is a man trying to figure out life and his place in it. He kind of reminds me of Russell Brand.
Yeah hes def not crazy. He just had a breakdown trying to figure out who he is because he said he became an actor just for money and to bring his parents together. When that didnt work and he had all the money in the world he had no idea who he was and just broke down and started drinking and fighting. So glad hes doing better now! I love Shia thats my dude lol
Great movie for me personally, but it might not be for everyone. If you dont want to think about the seriousness of PTSD its not a movie for you. Brilliant ending as well, didnt expect to cry like i did. 5/5
He always keeps getting better, it seems. I feel like I know Shia because i grew up watching him on TV. I have seen most of his films, never has let me down in a role.
I love this guy, shia is real.. "alot of this is dark, how do you get in that space?" You let go of all the petty shit and realize you can never do enough to change the world for the better... we call that the suck... welcome to the suck
"We talk about exploration. What's it like to walk through Harlem the day after the election. How can we connect with the culture and push culture and shape stuff. How do you speak to your times ?"... Man, seriously, this shit is profound... This is the word people should be spreading, I did not know 60% of Skid Row are veterans !! After watching American Honey I have a new found love for Shia...
Shia makes movies worth watching. Meaningful content that can change the world. Not the wolf of wallstreet bs…. Favorite actor by far. Peanut butter falcon is my favorite.
He is pretty smart to tap dance around the political questions at the end its clear he is probably not a fan of trump but at least he seems sympathetic to both sides i give him credit for that in this hyper charged atmosphere these days. Remember people always have their reasons for why they support someone that you do not and we all need to accept that no one is more entitled than the other.
because he doesnt give a crap about what he wears..its not a trend, its called not giving a crap. Or maybe that is the new trend? Not giving a crap? Idk..ppl are weird
This recent multifaceted form of stories you are putting out have really resonated. To all be so different but to have the common thread of the human condition is so powerful. You are really making fantastic choices that portray a story so clearly that connect with endless people. You are doing a great job. Thank you Mr. LaBeouf
DF?!?!?!?! Shia BENN had the same accent for years. U can find him during the Holes era working on a rap song with one of his friends. He grew up in the hood fr with a bunch of mexicans lololool
Oh man! I have never had a movie touch me like this. Watching little Johnny in the end was just heartwrenching and then poor Natalie. Wow. I can't remember actually crying like this to a movie. I've never seen a movie that explains the PTSD and homelessness of our great soldiers like this before. This is DEFINITELY a must watch 1 in 5 veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars are diagnosed with PTSD. 200,000 veterans go homeless each night. 20 veterans commit suicide every day.
Coincidentally, I'm waiting to watch the movie just because of that reason. Let some depression sub-side and desire to analyze the artwork, that's the day I'll watch it. It's a close subject to home for me.
