The more I watch these debates, the more obvious it is that Shias are the same as Christians. They have to interpret and assume what the Books say, even when clear statements are provided, they focus on what something MAY mean. Sad to see and may Allah guide them to Islam.
Exactly , just like when a Muslim is debating a trinitarian and brings for example an explicit verse like john 17.3 to refute his belief and prove Jesus can't be God. I look at this debate and it looks very familiar. Shias and Christians always go around in circles but never answer any questions with real proofs. They always say it depends on your interpretation. So far Shamsi wins the debate.

I’m a sunni and i have huge respect for Syed Ali because of the way he conducts himself is absolutely civilized. May Allah increase his knowledge and guide him. May Allah protect Shamsi and give him more Hikmah.

I lost any respect I had for Syed Ali. He has had many conversations with br. Adnan Rashid and it always seemed the Shia like Syed Ali are not arabic speakers and have not tried to understand the Quran. Clearly he hasn't tried since and failed here to demonstrate he has even tried. These guys are trying to follow Islam in English. Shia seem to have made their own religion like the Christians and possibly the knowledgable Shia probably know what they are doing to the ignorant but they hide the truth and mislead the masses. shamsi is a good guy and he knows very well how to deal with this kind of people, but why is he still claiming that he's from "Ahl al-bayt", a long time ago, he made the same claim, and later, he had a DNA test which showed him that he's Around 70% North African (he said it on a video) which is "Amazigh" not "Arab", because he's Algerian, if he was a Decendent of "Ahl al-bayt" he would have a huge percentage of the Arabian Peninsula in his DNA test which is not the case by the way, some people in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia .. claim that they're the Decendents of "Ahl al-bayt" and when they have a DNA test, they get shocked by the results of the (Autosomal, mtDNA and Y-DNA Tests) If you guys read some history, you'll find out that back in the days, some people in that region used to claim that they're the decendts of "Ahl al-bayt" to get some privileges, and their decendents inherited that false belief till these days they call themselves "The honorable people" "الأشراف أو الشرفاء" Honor is not inherited through DNA Peace be uopn the people of peace and the humble ones

bro, north african now are mixed with arabs. I'm from morocco, and our families trace back to ahl al bayt, many do. When you see the genealogy, or the family trees, you can clearly see it. When arabs conquered the maghreb, many people from arabia came, and mixed with the amazigh people. So literally almost anyone in north africa has some descent from ahl al bayt.

There’s around 70 verses in the Quran praising Sahaba directly and indirectly. I can’t list all 70 here, they’re on my channel in a comment section There’s only 2 verses in the Quran about Ahlul Bayt - one is talking about the wives ( 33:30-33 ) and the other one is where Allah tells us to show respect to the family of the prophet ( 42:23 ) Shi’a please wake up.

Muhajirin wal ansar is general due to the events of good/bad but the Quran says obey Allah and Mohammed and those in authority* so the best is Allah, Mohammed, ahle Mohammed, Sahaba but you sunni follow from the reverse... the concept is there
Mr shamshi totally misrepresented the verse 100 of chapter 9 to prove that Muslims were supposed to follow them! First see the verse itself! And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment. In it, it focuses clearly on the award of Jannah, as it is common promise to every Muslim by Allah, besides the Mahajaroon and Ansar. It is implied from this verse ,that become believers from non believers as like as did the Mahajaroon and Ansar, so this is ,the kind of follow (in the faith) in that particular sense ,being demanded by Allah and not exactly from Muslims who became Muslims after them or any other one who will get into islam later on . So how he can present it as a proof that Muslims should follow them firstly the Prophet pbup was still present among them to guide them all and secondly Quran still, was being revealed to Prophet for guidance ! So Mr Shamsi interpretation suggests, forget the Prophet at one side and start following the Mahajireen and Ansar. It is a total misguided interpretation from Mr Shamshi. I don’t understand the shia brothers that why no one from them present there just bothered to open the Ayat, read it and explain it. Are shia brothers really scared to challenge someone false interpretations?
