I’ve seen some people have great experiences with the shield arms mags, and some haven’t. I would rather have 10 for sure than 15 maybes, but I’m hoping Glock does make their own 15 round mags for it.
@@Fergtactical as of today, this gun has well over 1200 rounds through it. 900 of those rounds were ran with those three shield Arms magazines without any hiccups. but I do understand your point of view. I think James Yeager said something similar. As of this moment. I am ordering one more shield arms magazine with the base plate That’ll allow me to have a 20 round range mag. that’s how confident I am with the shield arms Gen 3 magazines
I had the same issue of lockback with the microslick micro mags by psa, i called them and they said there was no update to the mags. I compared followers to oem and are crap compared to oem mags. They said i could contact their warranty department for replacement but would send the same mags of same quality to me that i already have, I decided not to and not buy their mags because one of the three mags follower broke in half after accidentally dropping it in my kitchen empty no rounds in the mags after only one range session. I even went a step further and tried g19 gen 5 mag followers and springs in the psa mags and they did fit but had to shave alot of polymer out of the mag to make them not stick plus i still had no lockback with the oem mag internals which by my analysis it chalks up to the psa micro mags are slightly out of spec up to the feed lips. Like you said, they seem to have developed those psa mags to run more efficiently in their micro dagger pistols and mileage may vary for usage in other pistols such as oem frames and g43x/48 copies not related to psa.
Probably the follower is the issue. That I believe is the part that initiates the lock back after last shot. Sometimes aftermarket magazines just give trouble.🇺🇸
The problem with Glock 43X series…the only reliable mags are the OEM mags. Just go P365 and get factory 15 round OEM mags…I own the 43X MOS and my Shield Arms mags have been 100 reliable BUT when I used to carry it, I still use OEM just for peace of mind
I have AP365X, love the gun. I also have a 17R mag to go with the two 12 / 14 round magazines thanks to maggots. my Glock 43 XMOS has over 1000R through it right now with those magazines. No problem.
