I know that look of disappointment, i had to wait 2 days to get my adapters on my truck after taking it to FIRESTONE a week earlier, they fucked up one of my studs even after i said not to take my wheels off, therefore when i took my truck to get my new tires and adapters put on by my custom shop of choice the guy there told me to call them up and demand they replace my stud or i would report them to the bbb. They did but i will never ever go back they just don't take proper care of vehicles this happened because i took it there to FIRESTONE to have a complete check up i won't go into what they told me i needed to have done. They are a big con company! They use impacts on lugs and over tighten them. You should call the place who last worked on your truck and make them replace it free.
You should just get new hub assemblies and 3 inch spacers. Don't cut anything.. And check the tightness of the lugs every once in a while.. Forget the haters..
Good jobs I got my Loctite from Harbor Freight $2.97f for a bottle that size but you need bigger tires and before you cut your lug nuts you should put a lug nut on there so you can take it off silly boy
Not sure why a person would do this. Were you having clearance issues? Does it improve performance? I drive a F350 I use for work. I plan to upgrade my tires for better traction on construction sites. I chose this video because I was thinking of tires a little larger than stock (Nothing crazy) and whether or not I may need spacers for clearance. Is this for looks? Maybe I don't get it. I will say, as a construction safety engineer, your jack stands and low profile jack are not rated to lift a 6K lb vehicle safely. I would recommend, invest in some 3 ton stands which are taller and provide a wider safer base, and a 3 ton jack. Harbor Freight usually has a deal on the jack stands and jack.
As an engineer you should know that it's for clearance issues lol.. but some people use them for looks. I personally use them to put Chevy wheels on my Dodge.
