I think he does not do Wing Chun ( though Wing Chun was designed by a Shaolin master too), he does traditional Hung Kar, Shaolin branch, the 5 animals & Hung Kuen

Sadly, in India martial arts infrastructure and teaching centers are not yet developed like in China Europe America etc. We are still lagging in martial arts education. A very minor percentage of population is into martial arts learning, that too mostly likes of Karate taekwondo only. Wing Chun is very little known and barely taught subject. I have been searching for a good Wing Chun classes in Mumbai and i have come accross only a couple of them and i found their level is not upto the standards of what we see in Europe or China or not even can be compared to the good quality and level of the kind of Wing Chun that are available in RU-vid.

I'm of the same opinion,

I know a very good Muay Thai Kickboxer that was also very skilled in Wing Chun, he won most of his fights using Wing Chun rapid punches.

It isnt the style that wins its the basic instinct and skill of the fighter that wins ,remember what bruce lee said"ALWAYS BE LIKE WATER"

street fight is much easier than you think. you need to grow up with street fights from your childhood days. knives are a different story, if the piece of rock you throw didn't work run and get another one. it is all about presence of mind and your nerve system which you earn from those situations. you want them in all front of your life

anger and fear both will grab you at first. you will feel knees crumpling because you are not so used to these situations. goons lives in this so they know how to dominate your mind. but their stamina and skill is much much lesser than yours if you do martial art of any kind. when you start with a cool mind you will see how true it is.

sorry to know that. wish you a very quick recovery. any martial art that makes you healthy and tough and teaches you to fight real situations is good. any martial art is good if the master is good at teaching and the student is devoted. I love Kung fu. it is my way of living. you need to find out yours.
