I don't know if it was coincidence or not,but i like how they played mirko theme when shigaraki realises he is incomplete. Rabbit hero's guts are one of the big reasons heroes are still in the game,even a completion of few more percents could have been fatal.
@@muzammil292 Yeah and that's the point. Even while incomplete, the heroes barely beat him. So if Mirko hadn't done what she did, series would've ended right then and there.

Nah ain't no way Yukata Nakamura didn't animated this but instead animated a nice high-budget 15k Sakuga frames of just Tenya Iida running around at Season 5. LIKE WTF? THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE BEST FIGHT IN THE ENTIRE MHA FRANCHISE. ARE WE NEVER GONNA WITNESS A DEKU VS TODOROKI CALIBER OF ANIMATION EVER AGAIN IN THIS SERIES???????
Nah man this animation was mid not even as good as before. All might vs noumu? Izuku vs todoroki? Izuku vs bakugou? That was breathtaking but not this one. It feels plain.

Thank you! I was hyped and i read the manga till the latest chapter.. I respect that others want a better animation, but for me i enjoyed it because i felt the intensity, gravity of the situation. I dont want to be distracted nor affected by others' opinions, but i cant keep avoiding the comments section bec i wanna see positive feedback, or messages that i can relate to. So thank you!
@@jamesholcombe675 The animation is fine I agree. It gets the impact of the story across to the viewer. The placement of the flashbacks is on point. It becomes an issue when you set high expectations that you can’t keep up with, though. (All Might v Nomu, Deku v Muscular, All Might v AFO, Iida v Class B, etc) The result being people spoiled with more visually appealing animation in previous seasons complaining. It is ignorant to expect high-quality animation in every single big fight. They have a budget. Completely agree. Still doesn’t make sense to go all out on previous lower-stake fights to then animate one of the biggest turning points like “any other episode.” This is honestly more of a director related issue than animation. Bad decisions were made choosing what seasons to spend the most on. On another note, I’m sure they want the last season to be great. And 99% of everyone crying is going to watch the next episode anyways. So I guess it doesn’t matter.
The fight looks fine but this was supposed to be the best fight in the show so it’s a little disappointing. The anime looks good but it should have been GREAT
It’s pretty bad if you read it in the manga. In the manga it was fast paced and really felt like deku was tearing himself apart trying to beat shiggy. Here it cuts repeatedly to other characters or flashbacks and it slows Down the pace of the fight to where it just feels like deku and shiggy punch each other then wait 30 seconds and go at it again. There’s no fluid Sakuga animation to show how fast their moving or fighting, it’s literally Baki style frames of freeze frames with repeating animation on the wind to make it look like their moving. Plus it makes shiggy incompetent by literally just getting ragdolled. Shiggy literally sat in the air at the beginning of the episode for several minutes while deku monologued while in the manga they literally just went at it immediately. I was screaming at that point already because all shiggy has to do is use one of all for ones long range quirks like radio waves or the wind blast and he wins. He looks stupid because of the directing. Lastly in the manga the atmosphere was filled with smoke and debris while here it’s completely sunny so the tone just doesn’t feel right. They did the same thing with the redestro fight and it went from desperation and an actual war to two dudes fighting in the sun.
Loved how this scene was animated. While I love the style and detail other studios are putting forth in Bleach and Chainsaw Man, the animators here are still doing so much justice to this scene. Combined with the amazing voice acting and score, this is easily on par with season 1 and 2 for me. I know many people may disagree and that’s okay! It’s just my opinion I’m sharing. Much love to you all - this was a great Fall and Winter anime season.
Ikr? BONES is doing a great work! The battle is crazy and monstrous Deku's mad face is so damn good And of course Shigaraki is giving me the same vibe from the manga: "Is this guy even a human? Are you heroes sure it's not satan?" It's so great and good.
I genuinely dont understand folks freaking out about the art/animation quality. This looks good. Not the best the series has ever seen, no, but it looks good. Maybe it's because I watched Dragon Ball Super which had objectively terrible art and animation quality for like 80% of its runtime, but this seems great to me. I guess people think we need Sakuga level animation on every single fight or something.
tbh this is where mha lost me, because there could have been a hundred other reasons to write how shigaraki could be victorous here. Him surviving this onslaught should not have been one of them.

The most dangerous r always those that lost control. Look at deku when black whip came out. The power almost destroyed the field and injured people

He has no motives or real goal other than to destroy everything. Thanos didn't even have that motive and he had the power of the universe in his hands. Shigaraki is a poorly written character and If he destroyed the world, what next. just hide in a little corner somewhere. Shigi's powers are truly unknown other than his main quirk. He is not broken, he is just a bad character.
Who gives a shit if it’s not as graphic as the manga. It’s telling the story and still giving emotion. If you prefer the manga, go back then instead of complaining over them working hard to animate this for people who don’t read them. If your disappointed, suck it up.
@@kiteman02_64 Not every single scene is gonna have that type of luxury due to budget and so much time put into it. if you have the budget and time to do all the scenes like that, by all means, go show what it’s really supposed to be like. Either way, they are working hard to make the animations good for people who just wanna watch and aren’t full blown animation critics, so suck it up.

@@kiteman02_64 I think they put most of their budget on the movies especially and they’re saving up for the biggest battle which this isn’t yet. It’s a war of course, but I imagine they are saving it for the big finale. And this is only half way into the season. I find it weird that they didn’t animate this as big too, but considering their choice, they might have reasons why.

They should use their better quality on it, but I agree and wish that people should stop complaining and appreciate the decent animation we’re getting. I really like the anime because I can’t really understand the manga too well and I’d rather watch and hear the emotions.
@@thelanister96 there seems so be a wrong with timing as well. I can't put my finger on it accurately, but most of the scenes felt unimpactful. Like a joke that was thrown out off timing. For me, it's been like this throughout the season.

@@rocketeer101 For Izuku's smash barrage, the main reason it felt weak was because of specific choice in animation. Black whip is acting as a sort of bungee cord between Izuku and Shigaraki, extending and shortening as Izuku pulls Shigaraki in and blasts him away. This means it should straighten out fully to show the force of two people pulling at opposite ends before loosening as Izuku pulls himself closer and then back to straightening out. Instead it's shown to loosely connect the two with little to no instances of it becoming pulled straight even when the two are at a distance from each other. Couple that with the poor choice of character animation with unnatural movements, stiff poses and off model characters, it just looks completely underwhelming.
This scene looks like it would have been better with more time cause if you look at the rest of the arc I’d say they delivered justice to it but this scene makes you feel like there’s something missing in the animation sometime the frames and sequences are amazing (it’s like that Chansard scene in the villain arc
His arms will be just fine after the war arc , BECAUSE he's not taking the same damage like he used to before , he can control about 45% of the power on his own , and now when he uses 100% it doesn't put too much pressure on the body and the damage can be healed. Don't be an ignorant fu*k 👍
I gotta be honest. There's a lot of copium in these comments combined with an undercurrent of "if you were REAL fans you'd just accept whatever they give you without complaint." Fuck. That. Have some standards. If you liked the episode, fine that's one thing but don't act like this holds up to other fights in this series in terms of animation, pacing and overall direction. This was the turning point for the entire series. This moment. This fight between the main PROTAGONIST & ANTAGONIST! There is not a more important fight in this entire series that deserved their absolute best effort except maybe the one currently happening right now in the manga and THIS is how bones treated it while happily wasting the budget and time on mirko and a fucking nomu? Bare minimum, this fight should've been on par with the overhaul fight and ideally it should've surpassed it but...no. Mob psychos final season is more important to work on I guess. The only thing positive about this episode imo is Daiki's voice acting as deku. He killed that! Props to him for carrying this lackluster episode on his back.

As someone who has read the manga, the animation isn't bad at all and the amount of people complaining is legit getting ridiculous. What's ruining the season for me and genuinely making me not want to watch it is the god damn fandom.
How I learned to enjoy mha, just ignore the Fandom and its entirety is what a friend told me for my sanity. Not just for this but there is other reasons I'm uncomfortable with.
I’m seeing a lot of opinions on the animation and I believe that it’s GOOD. It’s not perfect by any means and it’s fine that you think its disappointing but saying its bad is just a trash opinion. This episode went so hard and I was acc getting hype. Glad that I’ve enjoying this season more than 5 so that’s a plus
It has a lot of still frames and Most of the times it felt flat. And that's not bones's fault. They had over a year schedule for a 2 cour high profile anime like MHA.
1:40 this is good animation Now this..... 1:22 3 gun shot sounds for no reason plus static drawing, the bad part is that most of the fight looked like this instead of the first one, of course the episode is enjoyable because the events, voice acting and OST are amazing.
Saying the episode was exciting doesn’t change the fact the animation was filled with still frames. This is the most thrilling arc in mha manga all the animation had to do was do it justice and they fell short here
To all of the people complaining about the quality of your show. You buy all of the merchandise. The Manga, the shows. This is what you literally pay for. You want them to invest into you? Stop siphoning into them
