I am growing more Shikou Eggplants this year. I have tried this variety last year and have been successful in the yields. I am growing this similar to my Ichiban Japanese Eggplants and Nagasaki Eggplants.

Hi, I don't really like egg plant ,but I LOVE THE COLOR PURPLE I might plant just to see it in my garden I'm sure my neighbor will appreciate them stay bless 💜❤💜❤

My japansese eggplant blossoms keep falling off. I'm in zone 9A, it's sunny and hot, but they are on drip system. help!

Hello. My eggplants are just starting to fruit and flower due to the severe weather we’ve had that’s blowing off the flowers. Two things. Either watering or lack of pollinators. If you are on drip I don’t think it’s watering, just make sure the soil dries between watering. Flowers fall of if they have not been pollinated. Try self pollination or planting marigolds close to the eggplant. Last thing I’d try is more phosphorus fertilizer. Look at Moorbloom Alaska. Good luck.
