Been playing a lot of questionable ships in EU ranked lately, it has been fun, fighting Smålands and FR DDs in ancient torp boats is always an adventure. Discord: / discord Stream: / flamuu Insta: / flamugram Twitter: / flamuchz
Worth noting the reactions towards the end, first the usual frustration at the team and RNG all the way until 20:17, followed by actual analysis of things that could have been done different. That last component of self reflection is incredibly important for improving as a player, and it's something I also struggle with at times. Tbf that Zao captain played the game as best he could have in that scenario. Against a literal pro like Flamu not sure many of us could have clutched that out - RNG aside ofc
Honestly, I enjoy this kind of content alot. Seeing players much better than me not only going through their thoughts while playing but also reflecting on situation/win condition awareness will definitely help my future destroyer cancer. Especially if its a loss as that's where the lessons exist. To "LOSE" is to be provided a "Learning Opportunity, Swiftly Engaged"
I have so many games where the loud mouth kill stealing trash talker somehow does f*ck all, all game other than steal kills and somehow gets more XP for the game than I do when I am capping, and spotting, and we end up losing because I cannot carry 5 village idiots against decent players on their team.
Outcome aside that is the kind of 1v1 that I live for. That moment when the match is on the line and your heart is racing, win or lose, it's exciting and I love that. I also like the self reflection and admission of mistakes. Even the pros slip up and its nice to see that from time to time. Good stuff flolo
Late to the video but damn that dunning-kreuger trash talk from that 48(45.6)%r was cringe, actually made me physically angry and is one of the major reasons I stopped playing, the other being CV rework ofc. Otherwise great video, super tense show down with the Zao and you were for sure robbed by the gap.
I absolutely adore you for putting such battle out. Well played, misjudged in the and, wasn´t overly toxic, learned the lesson, accepted he could have won would he do things differently, moving on. This is top quality content, not just cherry picked best battles of the day. Thanks, Flamu
He might have made a few mistakes, but Zao played prettys smart. Not the biggest powerhouse ship, so was really quite good compared to everyone else on his team.
How to get 500k spotting damage? Play 4 games on Shima. I did it yesterday. But that video is something different and shows skill difference. I would never shoot Zao/Marceau and probably I would die instantly after doing that.
Always love ranked. Literally this morning I had a bronze match where our Atlanta died early for getting caught out of position, and he was cussing at me and someone else for "not fighting" when sailing into the middle at Channel is a death sentence when you have cruisers up north and BBs to the east. We still won without him.
i play both WoWs and WoTs, and the players are all the same, they do nothing to help unless they see the HP bar below like 5-10% then they shoot and act like they helped then die and chat spam but i will say typing back instead of just ignoring them is just as stupid as its just instigating them to continue, these players are scummier then cheaters imo.
what are u expecting Bourgogne who has played more 17k games but his PR only 677 to play ranked battle ? i even think he rent some good player help him to reach high rank for earning more steel.
I used to play all four classes pretty equally. At some point after the carrier rework I realised I was beginning to hate grinding for ships I didn't care about and that I just wanted to have fun with my 20 something tier 10s. I don't touch carriers, hybrids, or subs, and now I main Shimakaze 😂
