In this video we ride along the Shimanami Kaidō (しまなみ海道), a 60km road that connects Japan's main island of Honshu to the island of Shikoku
In this video (Part 1) we cycle from the city of Onomichi (尾道市) over to Ōmishima Island (大三島).

Curious, what cycling alerts did ppl use? For example, on your right, on your left? Or did they just call out “sumimasen”？ Planning to do 2 days, as you did, with my son at the end of August; we’re both super excited! I had heard about the Tatara Bridge dragon roar - now I’ll know to look for the clappers!! Very kind of the oji-san to show you them! Thx for sharing a bit of your trip with us all!
