Compared with the 23 Antares DC MD from your other video, do you think Daiwa or Shimano has better-built quality and internal parts? or are they equal in quality? Considering the amount of metal, quality of metal, plastic, and quality of the plastic parts.

@@fishingreelmechanics if I may ask, what is the " monster drive "? Is it ..? I have both the Anda 21 DC and 23 MD but it appears 21 smoother all around , but are the gear teeth nothing same size in both ?
thank you for your comment. Shimano and the producer do not seem to have a clear definition for MD. I am not aware of the exact meaning, but summarizing the producer's explanation, MD appears to indicate specialization in big game fishing. I am not aware of the exact details regarding the gears, but there is a high possibility of shared elements based on the body shape, retrieval speed, and spool dimensions.
@@fishingreelmechanics Is the main drive gear made of brass? If so any thoughts as to why I would be experiencing a gritty feeling in gears on retrieval?
@@lysol419i think the md series is using brass for gear but soft brass..the gritty and sandy feeling is normal to all newer model of shimanos..i think this start from 2017 model where most of main gear and pinion will have too soft or too brittle gears material....that why most shimanos user just buy the custom gear..hope this will help😊
