I got a bike with di2 system, but it didn't have EW-WU111. In Japanese site, there's no info whether wireless unit can be installed under BT-DN110. Your video was so clear that I could install them. Thanks a lot.
Great video, was thinking of doing this on my bike but was apprehensive because my cockpit has fully integrated cables and I didn't want to mess around with it. This way is much simpler and the battery tip is also something that I wouldn't have known about.
Thanks, I had the password issue as well and you gave me a pointer. in fact I tried 0000 and 1234 which were recommended when pairing but none worked. You mentioned 000000 and I tried it and it worked! It then asked me to change if I want and I changed it! so far it's OK and connected!
Hi Jon, have just bought the hardware - wireless unit & cable (took a bit of searching to find the short 15cm one). Will install the wireless unit in the seatpost and then keep fingers crossed that I've got the right battery when I open it up!. Great vid BTW
Just the Dfly BT unit install but not configure yet. Thanks for the video. Hopefully will not have to resort to installing the older PC app to change anything.
Great video thanks very informative. Liked. Does installing the ew-w111 enable the red green light alternate blinking on the a junction box. I cannot get the red and green lights to flash like it does on yours so I assume that it doesn’t have ew-w111 installed ?
I think, with 2024 shimano 105 Di2 system RD-R7150, battery BT-DN300, we no longer need EW-WU111 for connecting the garmin computer edge 530 or 830. Is this correct ??

Hi Jon, any idea why I plug in the ewwu111, my front and rear D no moment and battery indicator not light light at all! I dismantle it and plug directly to my battery is working fine, I try a few time to plug the ewwu111, nothing is working! Please advice. Thank you.
Nice video.. I do not need the tool :-) Do you know if there is a difefrence in the battery that Shimano now sells? The BT-DN110 & BT-DN110-A are on the market but I have no idea what the difference is.. Except for the Capital 'A'.. Is it that one can do bluetooth and the other not?
Yes, esp if you hook up a di2 compatible garmin. My shop told me to install it for what I needed to do only if I have to and if the software is up to date via my charger. This guy is a shimano certified mechanic. He says they are crap as you can see with the problems here. In addition, the older version (3.5 of Windows . NET Core runtime environment this yt video tried to mention does not really help anymore with SMBCR2. It is just $hit code and firmware from Shitmano which is the problem. After 20 years of making billions off of di2 the still don't spend a damn thing on R&D for their electronic technology support.
