Great vid, thanks! Just another consideration that I found with mine - my original rear derailleur cable snapped right inside the shifter near the cable end and as a result, it wouldnt shift through all gears when trying to reset to put the new cable in. If so, you need to make sure you get that broken end out of the shifter mechanism or you'll think the shifter itself is broken (unlikely). This might require taking the plastic housing off (held in by a small phillips screw on the underside) to get right into the assembly to pull it out.
