TP FD is my Best reel so far. It is really baby Stella for half of the price. It feels so smooth and ridged.

TwinPower FD PG 4000 is the smoothest spinning reel I ever felt. In my opinion this is way better option than Stella. You can get 2 of these instead of Stella and it feels better than Exscence.

I just picccked u a pair of these for £200 each on clearance sale at my local tackle shop . Was going to get the new model at £399 but for £400 for two of them it was silly not to .

Would you recommend this for ultralight fishing? 2000 size? It’s a little heavier than Vanford but it’s not that much. What’s your opinion on it? Thanks

Thanks for asking. I think that you can’t go wrong. Is there a better reel for lighter lures, maybe. But I was throwing 1/8 spinners yesterday and I was able to get some good caring distance with a 3000 size. By going down to 2000, you will get better casting distance with light lures.

Do you think that the new Shimano vanquish 3000 be to light for that rod expride B med the one you was talking about because I am thinking about buying one of them rods

Thanks for asking Raymond. The expride B is an extremely light rod. I was fishing with the twin power/expride b set up today - unfortunately, didn't hook on to any trout but it was still nice to get out on the river. I can share that the rod balanced extremely well and I think the vanquish - with it being on the lighter side, will pair better than the twin power.

That's not a smart thing to do .....better for 6k and up for tuna so you don't burn out your gears

Great real I just bought a 4000 for my inshore Gloomis pr844s you an get them a lot cheaper at Digtaka in Japan buy direst save over $100.00 I bought mine cash ftom tackle shop $360.00

Indeed, it is a great reel. I got mine for 30% off during the fishing expo this year! I have a tendency to "like" US purchased reels because they can be serviced in the states.
